8:08 apologies for silly question, but when shane got down for the 6, why he aimed slightly left english even he hit the 6 straight? And i saw a lot of player does that? Why they used to aim slightly left even they want to hit straight? Sr bad English!

@Ronnie Civella yea but why do you need the spin if the cue ball isnt gonna touch a wall? Does it change the path of the cue ball after contact with the object ball?

I hear its called "gearing" the ball. It's used to help the ball go in the pocket instead of bobble in the jaws.
