I think "Breathe" sort of ends the story that Confetti is trying to tell. Yes they broke up with someone in the beginning, they're trying to move on, they regret that they broke up with then and are dealing with that. But in the end, their lover is happy with someone else, they could be getting married and now our protagonist knows that they don't have another chance.
Yeaaaah, and it's a really nice contrast with BUS too

I personally think Breathe should've been before A Mess (Happy 4 U). That would've been more cohesive. Grieving in Breathe and Accepting in A Mess (Happy 4 U). If You Want My Love should've been the last song. Ending the album on such a powerful note

I'm still impressed... This is one of the most cohesive albums they've ever released. Maybe it's too soon to state something like that, but this might be their best album yet!
I like to think that the last song is if you want my love with breathe acting more as an epilogue. No matter how strong you are, how confident you are, we're all human. When it all comes down to it we all have moments of vulnerability. And it those moments, we need to breathe.

I was also very confused about why Breathe was the last track, but here's my interpretation.

They're still struggling to move on. Sometimes the memory of your ex is just... too strong. So it takes more time than usual to move on.

Usually when people have a break up, at the beginning we’re sad until we get our shit together and we’re like “I’m better without you, the best thing I ever did was to let you go” but sadly we always go back (even for a short period of time) to that dark place where you miss your ex and literally like breathe says “I’m drowning in the liquor, I thought I was sick of you, show me what to do”
Yea I’m definitely going through a tough time because I broke off a friend who was basically my soul mate and it’s just been so fucking hard trying not to cry a lot of times but little mix is helping me significantly

I think Breathe is the finishing track because it is the antithesis of what the album is supposed to be. I think Little Mix are trying to say that you could have all the support in the world and embrace the empowering energy, but that won't mend a broken heart.

CONFETTI really did good well and this album dserves recognition. I think this album was a little bit inspired by their previous albums. DNA dark vibe, Salute RnB influenced, Get Weird Fun and Hype vibe type, Glory Days pop perfection and LM5 mature and good lyrically. CONFETTI is that bijj

- it’s a fun and dance pop song, each girl shine and i really love the 80’s kinda vibe and the bridge where jade’s growl gets me 😍

This is my top song. I really love how each girl shine too in this track. The chorus and the hook are so good in a way I can’t describe 😍
3. Sweet melody (9/10)
Ooh at first i was like yes i love this song but the MV brought me to the next level 😍 and also the do-doo-do. Every girls got their moment too.

The chorus is legendary (i said what i said) it gives me power (Glory Days) and more than words (LM5) vibe, but the song miss a potential bridge. For me this song is more carried by lerrie
9. A mess (happy 4 u) (9/10)
My top song as well. Perrie opens up so good with sing / talk and jade falsetto 😍. Jesy sudden bridge fits so well cuz from what i interpret, this is a song where you are sad cuz your ex has moved on and you are trying to act tough and sexy but you are still sad inside, so the contrast between jesy bridge and other parts of the song really brings out the theme for this song. This is the perfect combination for happy, sad and twerk imo 😂 This song is carried (meaning lead not make the song better) by everyone except jesy
10. My love wont let you down (9/10)
SISTER TO TOLD YOU SO (LM5) 😭 i really love this track cuz i can feel that they are singing to each other and to the fans as well . “Trust me my love wont let u down” gets me everytime 😢
11. Rendezvous (7/10)
It’s like not a pop song and nothing but my feelings i will sing along but it’s not my fav. But the part when jesy sang “tempo get to the crescendo” i love THAT PART so much. I’m happy that this track are divided equally but Jesy should be the one who carry (as in lead) more cuz her sexy voice fits this song so well
12. If you want my love (9/10)
LOVE WHEN THE “if you want my love” kicks in. The girls shine equally. They really throw it back with this track cuz there are not tracks like this currently and when they bring it back they absolutely smash it and also the “do-doo-do” part 😍
13. Breathe (8/10)
BEST WAY TO END THE ALBUM IMO. The mid tempo kinda sad vibe really is one of the way to close the album. I really love the bridge where they sing it acapella ooh the harmonies 😍
Overall it’s a no skip album (except sometimes “my love wont let you down” when I’m not in a mood to get sad 😂) LM5 is definitely the best album from them but for me Confetti is an album where i can sing along to every track and get into the vibe easily to listen whereas i need to get into the mood for some tracks in LM5

I watched every single minute of this and I'm so happy you liked it so much especially A Mess (Happy 4 U) because it's my favorite too!! Also I might be quite off base but I have been thinking with the way they placed the songs in order and it's like they tried to set it in the way how a girl moves on from a heartbreak, find someone new, gets their heart broken again, realizing they can find happiness in themselves, embracing love again, probably failing to find the right guy for them again (? idk if that makes sense 'cause of A Mess (Happy 4 U) and My Love Won't Let You Down), people finally giving them the attention they weren't expecting, and accepting the fact that they still miss their previous relationship (hence Breathe as the last song in the album). This is just my little theory and Idk if it works for everybody but yep, this is what I think!😁😄
