I have listed any supplies I used in todays video as well as the basic tips shared during the video!
Epoxy Drips:
Tips:
-Use a regular epoxy (not a fast set)
-you can thicken your epoxy with: time, cornstarch, or epoxy thickeners (I use: amzn.to/3QEs5el )
-Practice your drip on an old cup to make sure your epoxy is thick enough before moving to your designed tumbler.
Puffy paint drips:
Puffy paint drips are great for adding glitter or polymer clay pieces
-Quick and easy and completely dries within 24 hours
-Glitters I used: Spiffy and lilac blooms from www.shopvinylgallery.com
Puffy Paint: amzn.to/3CjkGwW
Hot Glue Drips
Tips
-Hot glue comes in many colors including glitter!
-Use a high heat glue gun for best results (I used: amzn.to/3dI6kMj )
-Add heat to make your drips longer OR blend the hot glue in between sections
-Remember hot glue can burn you so be careful
Hot glue sticks: amzn.to/3QSCbbe

I love your mat!❤❤❤
Thanks so much b
Great video! ❤❤❤ I already use the puff paint method. Which I ❤️
Now I am VERY excited to try the hot glue and the epoxy!
Yay! You’ll have to let me know what you think when you give them a try
Great video and thank you so much for showing all 3 methods ! Going to try some puffy paint right now :)
Have fun! One of my favorites is the puffy paint simple quick and easy when I just want a cute drip
Very helpful! Thank you ❤
Glad it was helpful
Thank you for sharing this! So nice to see several different applications for this! ❤️
Thank you so much for watching!
Fabulous tutorial! Thank you so much, can't wait to try each of your examples 💕
Thank you Peggie! Hopefully you found it helpful!
Great tutorial!! I love the puffy paint but that hot glue for the blood and candle drips is amazing!! I didn’t know about this one. Very helpful 🤍 thank you so much!!
Thank you Lisa Marie! And yes who knew hot glue has so many color options
All of those drips came out awesome. Thank you soooo much for this video. I love the glue gun and fabric paint one. I find them more easier 😆 stay blessed love 🥰
Thank you Johany! And I’m with you in those 2 much easier with quicker results
I hadn't thought to use colored hot glue! I've done epoxy and puffy paint and can't wait to try hot glue!
Hot glue comes in soooo many colors I love hot glue for spooky season cups
Those drips are beautiful! I’ll try the hot glue. I cannot believe that one looks the best. All are beautiful bc I played w puffy paint today & it was a no go. Beautiful work on all.
Hot glue is a fun one and a bit easier to clean up/ remove vsthe others. Sorry puffy paint was a no go hopefully you will give it another try in the future
Thank you!
❤️❤️
I thought I’d like the epoxy best but turns out I like the hot glue more. Very informative. Thanks for showing the difference.
Thank you so much for watching Wendy! I really like how the hot glue drips too!
I love the purple one
Yes epoxy drips are so classy to me and the mica on that one just makes it so much better can’t wait to add the rhinestones
Love me a good drip cup!!! Especially during Halloween and fall and Christmas like witch cups and pumpkin spice cups and hot cocoa for Christmas!!!
Oh my gosh yes for sure! Drips are just the best for this time of year
Thank u for this tutorial!! I had no idea I could use colored glue sticks for drips!! 💗💗💗💗💗
There are so many colors to choose from I was quite literally shocked myself! There wasn’t any color than clear when we were kids 😂
@@lyshabcreative2659 this is a game changer for sure!! Thank u boo! Yes that’s why I was so shocked bcz it was all I knew 🤣🤣🤣
Love all of these ❤ I was wondering if you go over the hot glue and puffy paint with epoxy or just leave as is?
Thank you! And yes I go over all the drips with another coat of epoxy to seal everything in!
Ohhhh wow!!!! First of all, I never knew that you can get glue sticks in different colors (I did know about glitter glue sticks)
These are all neat and kinda easy hacks, question for the first hack do you do the regular 1 to 1 ratio for the epoxy drip?
Yes hot glue honestly is my fav especially for spooky season. But yes for epoxy drips I use the regular 1:1 ratio epoxy
@@lyshabcreative2659 ohh I see!! I love this!!
Thank you!!! So would you have to seal any of these? If so how 🤔
So yes and no. The fabric paint one would last longer Under epoxy or a water based sealer but if using for decor you could get away with just sealing with clear spray paint like the coaster cups I did!
For the epoxy one you don’t have to unless it needs sanding and with hot glue you honestly could leave it without sealing and it would do fine! I use hot glue a lot for toppers and don’t usually seal those with epoxy
I was wondering when you seal the puffy paint or hot glue do you use a fast set epoxy?
I believe I used regular epoxy in these but you could use fast set if you wanted
Question do you have to go over the drips with epoxy to seal them?
I recommend epoxying over the hot glue and the fabric paint for a smooth finish but not necessary over the epoxy drips usually
I think you are giving out helpful information and thank you for all your help Would love to watch the tutorial but the curse words on the mat makes it difficult
There aren’t any but thank you
Question: do you leave the cup off the turner and let it dry?
For the hot glue and fabric paint drips yes but my epoxy drips I always spin once I’m satisfied to how far it’s dropped
Thank you for asking because that was my question too 😊
Can you resin over the puff paint or hot glue?
Yes you can!
Do puffy drips need to be sealed with Epoxy after? I don't really have a cup turner or a means to seal with epoxy but I've seen many do that. I'm worried it'll peel off or break off with use or wish handling.
So I normally do yes however they would still hold up fine without it would just be more textured and not as smooth.
HI,
I'm Tony, I'm writing to you from Italy.
Do you have a guide to sublimate 15oz (or other) mugs with a puffy 3d effect?
I've seen so many digital files for sale on Etsy but I haven't found a guide how to make them.
Can you help me?
Thank you.
Hi there tony, I have not tried this yet I myself am just getting into the sublimation game myself. If I find out anything that might be helpful I’ll be sure to share
@@lyshabcreative2659 Thanks dear!
Is it possible to get drips on small, fake twigs so that it looks like icicles?
Hmm I’m not sure! Maybe with the fabric paint if you add a little at a time and let it dry? I have seen the icicle version of drips but not dripping from something like a twig yet
If the hot glue method is used do you epoxy over it?
Yes I epoxy over hot glue drips to keep them sealed and avoid them being pulled up
Do you epoxy over the epoxy drip and the puffy paint drip?
Yes as soon as the drip is dry you can go over it with epoxy ☺️
Are you able to add color to the puffy paint?
So puffy paint does come in lots of colors but you certainly could tint or change the color or white puffy paint and then apply it as a drip to your cup from a medicine cup vs the bottle it comes in
I just started with drips, I used the tulip fabric paints, 24 hrs later, the drip was dry but not solid.. ??
Yes this can happen sometimes usually if your space is on the cooler side the paint takes much longer to fully dry. I just leave it to sit longer until it fully dries
If you use hot glue, so kids don't pick at it, can you use your non-toxic finish over it? Thank you
You could certainly do a different finish like Hyperion or brite tone to seal in the hot glue drips
@@lyshabcreative2659 Thank you
I would like to watch and possibly subscribe but I don't want to see curse words while watching the video.
Hi there, not sure where you are seeing curse words on my channel as my voiceovers and content is completely family friendly. If there is something I am missing please let me know.
