Awesome... thoroughly enjoyed the 15 minute of it.... No doubt the 950 is an amazing instrument but what makes a demo special is how the presenter can bring the true power of it in a 10 minute clip... your playing is superb... Every single voice that you played - nice selection of tunes, voices and excellent playing... Thumbs up... 100 of them :)

Das is doch mal einen recht gute Präsentation und noch dazu von jemandem der echt schnelle Fingerchen auf der Tastatur hat. Und die Movie und Epic Styles von Yamaha find ich schon immer absolut geil. Und wie gehabt hat auch hier am S950 Yamaha mal wieder ein echt gutes Mktteklasse Keyboard auf den Markt gebracht. Ich werds sicher demnächst selber mal antesten.

Is there a way to play farther up key pad like if you had 88keys by tranposing the keyboard someway for say a ending of a song and I want to go farther up the keypad then the 61 notes.
The S950 sure does have tons of features, even more then the Tyros 4.

Die Clavia Produkte bedienen ja auch sehr spezialisiert den Bereich "professionelle Bühneninstrumente" mit den Schwerpunkten : Klavier, E-Piano, Orgel & Synthesizersounds. Man kann diese Instrumente aber auch nicht vergleichen, da sie sich in völlig unterschiedlichen Genre bewegen. Für ein Arranger-Keyboard ist das PSR-S 950 auf jeden Fall aktuell ein echter Hammer !
Ja ! Das PSR S 950 hat sowohl einen 16 Spur Midi Sequenzer, einen USB-Audio Recorder als auch einen voll ausgestatteten Style-Editor ! Mit dem integrierten Flash-ROM können sogar neue Sounds von Yamaha nachgeladen werden. Als Speichermedium steht dem PSR S950 ein USB-Anschluß zur Verfügung. So können sämtliche Aufnahmen, Bearbeitungen, Neuerstellungen und Klangeinstellungen bequem auf einen handelsüblichen USB-Stick abgespeichert werden.
Sempre achei que o problema dos arranjadores da Yamaha fossem os ritmos com cara de estúdio. Confesso que não esperava muita inovação com esse S950. Mas, o teclado está sensacional. Os ritmos muito mais casuais e os timbres com qualidade de sintetizador. Acho que não tem pra ele na categoria.
Da hast du wohl Recht. So ne Arranger-Schüssel hat ja als Zielgruppe hauptsächlich Alleinunterhalter und Komponisten, die möglichst viele Stilrichtungen abdecken. Trotzdem wäre (meiner Meinung nach) technisch mehr machbar. Aber das könnte auf Kosten der Vielfältigkeit gehen. Mein Geschmack isses leider (oder zum Glück?) nicht.

Aqui no Rio Grande do Sul o preço é este; conheço muito bem Korg e Roland pois usei muito eles nas bandas q toquei por exemplo Triton tr, Fanton X7 teclados bons para bandas q usam metais ao vivo e acordeon pq esses timbres usados em qualquer um dos dois era uma piada nem korg nem roland conseguiram chegar nem perto de montar um som parecido de sopro e acordeon, já o YAMAHA
é o q mais chega perto! Cada um com a sua opinião!!!!!

kann man mit dem keyboard auch eigene styles und eigene melodien erstellen und diese irgendwo abspeichern?
Bin ja gespannt, wie weit man das noch treiben will mit den Keyboards. Ich meine, irgendwann ist doch genug Realismus bei den Klängen erreicht. Ich finde, man hat es praktisch schon zur Perfektion getrieben.

em 2014 comprei o psr s 750, esse ano de 2015 troquei pelo s 950, é tudo a mesmissima coisa, só gastei um pouco mais, é muito dinheiro pra pouca qualidade

Leslie-Simulationen sind auch keine Lösung wenn es einen authentischeren Sound der Hammond-Sounds geht. Es würde zwar die An- und Ablaufzeit des Rotors besser darstellen, aber die Soundtiefe eines echten analogen Leslies könnte man dadurch immernoch nicht 1:1 ermöglichen. Das PSR-S 950 bietet dafür echte Samples ... sowohl für das Slow, als auch für das Fast Rotary Leslie und kommt zumindest klanglich eher in die Nähe !
Wie bei allen neuen Geräten die man sich kauft eine Herausforderugn die Bedienungsanleitung - eine zeitintensive Arbeit bleibt NICHT erspart...es ist nicht fad....schade das die Demonstration wenig in die Einzelheiten geht..z.B. welche Tasten werden gewählt um den hörbaren,vorgeführten Sound zu erhalten...

Es wurde ab diesem Zeitpunkt auf das OTS 4 des Originalstyles zugegriffen. Diese Soundeinstellung ist also im Original genauso vorhanden ! Es handelt sich nicht um einen einzelnen Sound, sondern um eine Kombination von zwei Klängen ! (Right 1 und Right 2 Part)

Super Keyboard ohne Frage super Styles und Voices. Aber leider gefällt mir die Optik so garnicht. Schwarz ist schick, aber das Layout ist mir irgendwie zu stark gequetscht. Das Layout des S910 war mir da schon viel lieber.
Hab es aber schon angespielt um sagen zu können, dass Yamaha wieder mal super mit seinen Sounds weitergeht!!!!

Das neue Layout bringt die Bedienelemente näher zusammen und verringert dadurch unnötig lange Bedienwege ! Optisch natürlich eine Geschmacksfrage, praktisch aber sinnvoll gemacht !
O preço correto é R$ 7.997.00 e vale cada centavo pago afinal nem Roland nem Korg fazem frente aos arranjadores yamaha sempre utilizei teclados da linha Psr e nunca apresentaram problema algum! hoje em dia a yamaha é top de linha em matérias de timbres também qualquer dúvida é só testar um
já trabalhei com Roland e Korg e nenhum chega aos pés do YAMAHA!!!!!

Das PSR-S 950 hat deutlich mehr und hochwertigere Sounds als ein T3 ! Viele Sounds des PSR-S 950 stammen direkt aus dem Tyros 4, zudem findet man im PSR-S 950 den Vocalist des T4, neue Amp-Modeling Effekte, welche noch nicht einmal im T4 enthalten sind und die neuen Audio-Styles, welche eine komplett neue Technik in den PSR-S Modellen darstellt.

You can buy these for between $1600.00 and $1800.00. I've been having fun with mine for over a year now. The vocal harmonies are really nice. And playing. singing and saving a song as a WAV file is also cool.

E um Tyros então, que custa R$ 23.000,00... Conseguiram desbancar a fama do fagote, por ser tão caro. Mas quanto à qualidade, admito, insuperável.

But it is the best series S equals the Tyros 2 !!!!!!!!! But then over time they reached the psr S910 !!!! Something improved from the first psr s900 !!!!!!! ...
Then there was the psr S950 !!!!! and psr S750 !!!! Who finally has something new !!! Especially for the S950 !!!!!!! which has all the engine of Tyros 4 !!!!! Instead, the S750 is the same as the S910 !!!! Only that the S910 has the Vocal Harmony !!!!!!

Mein Clavia Nord klingt (in alen Belangen) um Welten besser. Natürlich ist es Geschmackssache, aber ich würde mir sofort ein Tyros kaufen, wenn es nicht so nach Alte-Opa-Musik klingen würde.

Fazit: Immernoch keine vernünftige Lesliesimulation, eGitarre klingt weiterhin ziemlich schlecht. Lautstärkeverhältnisse werkseitig unpassend (für meinen Geschmack). Der Rest ist aber echt gut gelungen. Drumsamples und Orchestersounds finde ich z.B. Klasse.
aqui e 6000,00, 7997,00? amigo psr e linha de arranjadores amador assim envem chegando psr 510,610,.....520,530,540,550 1100,2100, psrs 700. 710,900.910,950... e muitos outros,,mudou praticamente nada um para o outro.minha opiniao sobre teclados arranjadores yamaha , nao so eu varias pessoas esta hoje tendo problemas com a yamaha, eu tenho um psrs 710 e tbem um korg pa 600, espetaculo de arranjador e sinterizador mais barato q o psrs 950. conheça mais sobre a korg e roland.
