Another fun fact about this bug: after you reach land, after a couple thousand blocks it gets cut off again, and this repeats with the gaps becoming shorter and the distance you have to travel between gaps also becoming shorter.

I once had a very weird glitch on pocket edition in its earlier days when they first added Redstone and I was playing on a flat world, and it caused the world to generate normally everywhere except a 6 chunk diamond at spawn. It was cool because you were just in this flat area, and then walked up to a massive cliff.
I honestly thought that no one else had this glitch but when I was younger, I had walked a little far from the spawn chunks and I saw a HUGE cliff as well and it was an old-world generation (that means it was a limited world) Sadly it was on my old tablet, and I play on Windows 10, so I don't have it anymore

This comment makes me think of one world I made where one chunk was randomly extruded upwards. It was like 64 blocks tall with caves in it and lava falls and waterfalls spilling out of it. On top it was perfectly flat with grass and one tree. It was a strange sight.

The elytra fully enchanted with a maximum flight timen of 28 minutes 44 seconds. You would only actually need 8 elytra.
