Picot Edging and Adding Thread Guard

  • Basic picot edging used to bring together an embroidery piece with the backing. A thread guard is used in place of a beaded loop.

    Great tutorial! Thank you for sharing. Just starting out and wondering how I would add additional pieces to make it a bracelet? Would I attach the pieces to the edging?

      You could add a thread guard on either side of the finished piece and attach the bracelet that way

    do you have the tutorial for that project ?its beautiful and what size of beads are they 3mm?

      The beads are size 11 czech. The awareness pin and the phone grip tutorials explain the process you can screen shot a picture of the pattern if you wish to copy it.
