Kubo said in an interview that Hell Verse is his favourite movie but it works separately to the new Hell arc, not as a continuation or parallel

This is a non-canon animation of a short "tie-in" chapter Kubo drew before the 2010 Hell Verse movie. I remember when it was serialized. Neither this chapter nor the movie are canon. If Kubo draws the Hell Arc (and it's not confirmed yet that he will) it will likely be reimagined. Kubo was involved with the planning and scenario stage of the movie, but he's free to change his mind.
Although this is off canon considering where the manga eventually goes to, I do hope to see some elements from this one shot and the movie in the new bleach arc. I did like the look of the main antagonist from the movie

Souls Reapers can only cleanse souls of crimes they committed when they were a hollow. If they committed crimes as a human they’re sins are judged and can get sent to hell.
That's assuming he went to hell tho, I'm pretty sure when a hollow dies by the hands of a soul reaper, they either go to the soul society or hell and tbh, Ulquiorra wasn't much of a villain, sure he temporarily killed Ichigo, but he wasn't necessarily bad
Only hollows that used to be humans, and of those only those that used to be pretty bad humans, go to hell. Ulquiorra was an original hollow who never had been human, his soul was formed in Hueco Mundo. There is probably no afterlife for him.
I think maybe since the arrancars have soul reaper power if they have enough Reiatsu like captain level they will have to go to hell when they die just like a soul reaper. Do I believe all the espada will go to hell.

@@bleachcentral4613 You’re correct. A Captain with extreme Reiatsu has to be sent to Hell because their Reiatsu would linger still, and can possibly destroy SS if it’s overloaded with Reiatsu.

So the Espadas are Arrancar, right? And Arrancars are original hollows. And hollows are originally people who died with some sort of grudge. Meaning these guys could have been kind and normal people alive (just like Orihime's brother) but those souls have been sent to hell even if they weren't originally deserving? That's messed up.
