    Last night I woke up at 3 in the morning. I don’t know how I got to this video, but I did. I couldn’t find my earbuds, and just played this song into the air. My God. This was incredibly moving. I shed silent tears all throughout this piece. I didn’t comment then, but I couldn’t stop thinking about this song all day. I finally got home and could listen to it again. My life has been filled with so many beautiful choral works recently; it is like God himself has been sending me songs and choir performances in my area to attend. In every note I hear, I hear Jesus. In every dot on the page, I see love and care. My heart is filled with sorrow, joy, and peace. This is the first of your works that I’ve heard (to my knowledge), and I instantly crave more, and more with every second that I spend writing this. I am in love. Thank you

    I cannot get enough of this piece. Kim, this is so wonderful. I know I have told you this before... I am sitting here studying the chords. Just wonderful.

    I cannot help but compare this to the late John Tavener's setting. Tavener's version has this totally unique stark, sublime, almost geometric kind of beauty to it; whereas yours possesses a more human kind of beauty. Both illuminate different aspects of Blake's poem. So, on the whole, I'm glad you made this; well done!

    I'm obsessed, I confess. This is too beautiful, too innocent.
    Mr. Arnesen.....this is by far the most touching version of William Blake's "Little lamb". I really love Tavener's one, but yours.......Oh! Gosh!!!! Those three 'little lamb' at the end, and the last 'God bless thee'......It's something sacred!!!
    The joy (and joy doesn't mean happiness) I experience when listening to this, is divine. You were deeply touched by the Holy Spirit when writing this gem. Thank you, thank you, and God bless thee!!

      Thank you so much for your very kind words! I love Tavener's one too and was hesitant to set it to music, until the ideas came to me one day.

    Little lamb who made thee
    Dost thou know who made thee
    Gave thee life and bid thee feed.
    By the stream and o'er the mead;
    Gave thee clothing of delight;
    Softest clothing wooly bright;
    Gave thee such a tender voice,
    Making all the vales rejoice!
    Little lamb who made thee
    Dost thou know who made thee
    Little lamb I'll tell thee,
    Little lamb I'll tell thee!
    He is called by thy name,
    For he calls himself a lamb:
    He is meek and he is mild,
    He became a little child:
    I a child and thou a lamb,
    We are called by his name.
    Little child God bless thee.
    Little child God bless thee.
