Enjoyed Hard By A Great Forest. Loved James. Liked it better than The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Loved Percival Everett.

Silverman is an amazing playwright. I liked her last novel. Wish I would have loved it! But will dive into the new one. I did love James though. I would have never read Husbands without your podcast. But it is one of my favorites so far this year.

I really need to read Hard By A Great Forest. I’ve been intrigued by the slightly euphemistic title for a while. Hahaha. Cinema Love is very high on my TBR. I just bought James, I don’t know if I want to read Huckleberry Finn first though. Lol.
Hah hah re: forest. Cinema love i think you’re going to, well, love. I do t think you need to read Huck first but it’s interesting how he begins the narrative very in line with the original
James is another one I really want to get. I do feel like I need to read Huck first. I actually just found a copy of huckleberry finn in my house that must have been from my husband's grandparents bc its being used as old book decor. 😂
Everett did an author event at the Mark Twain house in CT and I'm so bummed it was sold out by the time I'd learned of it.
