After playing bass for over 20 years I still crack up when any reference is made to the G string 😂
Nice to see women giving tips and lessons. Going to try and watch everything. Keep going. Don't stop.
I subscribed because of the thumbnail alone. The hair, the bass… definitely subscribed. Great bass talk too lol.
You’re the queen of the slap bass and this is a learning bass guitar experience
I've been trying to approach slap for a while but it's been difficult. You've been the most helpful with explaining and teaching slap. Thank you so much!🤘🎸🎶
As a 69 year old novice bass player, I’m finding these videos very helpful.
Your videos are always so helpful!!! I’ve only been playing since December, and anytime I wanna be overwhelmed, but also learn a lot, I tune in.
Yonit, you are gifted bassist and teacher. So simple, straight forward and effective. I don't do slap often, not the kind of music I play, but, just it is a tool in my tool box. I always had problems with shoulder pain when I slap. Watching the video helped me realize my posture issue which I will be correcting.
Playing bass guitar and guitar for 57 years this Saturday. I just now found this video and you made me fall in love with you at 7:50 when you said, “...if it’s frustrating to you, leave your guitar, come back the next day and try again.” Yes, it’s great advice, but that’s not the part I’m focused on, which is a bit trivial compared to the advice itself, but it’s something a *LOT* of bass guitar players complex over, which is *admitting that the bass guitar IS a guitar!” It’s always great to see the younger folks keeping it real, *THANK YOU!!*
you said: ""you made me fall in love with you at 7:50" I fell in love with hjer 1st time I saw her. She is easy on my eyes!
Nice bass. Love the Sadowsky
You’ve demonstrated these points extremely well. Thank you for your contribution.
Just what I needed! You are a superb teacher. Thank you!
Wow, this is incredibly straight-forward and to-the-point. I've played slap for years and I even picked up some pointers!
I could say freely, respectfully, "Ooh baby I love your way" the way You teach us. I am a beginner and enjoy your recommendations "nights and days"

Wow amazing sounds 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
God bless you real good. You blessed my bass guitar life
Thank you yonit ❤️
great lesson
Good instruction. When I learned this technique I found the right hand feel was similar to dribbling a basketball or hitting a speed bag.
Thank you for this
I don’t play bass but I find this intriguing. I play blues guitar. However, the blues guitarist Albert Collins has used these techniques throughout his whole career. He developed his style out of necessity because he was without a bass player. I appreciate this video very much. Makes me want to purchase a bass. Blues guitar is my main instrument but I do have other instruments that I play around with. I’m not good at these other instruments but gives me time to practice with them to familiarized myself with them. Many musicians have their main squeeze but have other instruments that they tinker with to give them that feel and sound they are looking for.
Nice lesson! 👌
