- Here I visit Hollansburg Cemetery in Hollansburg, Ohio, where Rich Mullins is buried. Mullins was a popular Contemporary Christian singer and songwriter who had several hits in that genre including "Sometimes By Step" and "Awesome God". He was killed in a tragic auto accident at the age of 41. Many musicians consider him an influence on their work.
The day I publish this video is the 26th anniversary of his death.
I saw Wayne play several times at very small intimate gatherings in various settings in central Indiana. We were at a small youth event together early one spring. I was sitting in a corner with my guitar and he came over to see what I was doing. He asked me to play something. I'm not especially talented musically, but I played one of my original songs. When I finished, his response was "I like it!" That was something coming from him!
I saw Rich three times live! Amazing! He even signed my Bible. RIP❤️
That is so awesome! Would've been a cool experience seeing him live in person
I fully EXPECT RICH to be walking around Heaven barefoot with the KING OF KINGS, our Lord Jesus, Yeshua Hamashiach! So many of his SONGS 🎵 got me and my husband through really tough times over our 25 years marriage. My husband played Rich's cd's in his truck everytime we were going on a vacay or driving from Arkansas to Georgia for my husband's stage 4 cancer treatment. Keith is now with Rich and the millions and millions of other people who accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord & Savior.
" If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus AND Believe in your heart God raised Him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED." Roman's 10:9-10
Thanks for the video!
You bet!
One of my favorite artists of all-time. One of my greatest regrets is not seeing him live in concert.
I was going to ask if you ever did
Amazing video. Thank you.
RIP Rich Mullins.
Awesome God gets the most traction, but he had 4 or 5 others are my favorites.

Too bad I left Ohio a few days before you got there. You know a fair share of the music industry and the singer/songwriters. I never heard of this guy, but my brother in law has (he sings Christian music, traveling band)
RIP ❤
How sad, I didn't realize he died.
Not to say that others are not;... just a comment,
( he was humble)
