I grew up to these beats. It isn't about chart positions, or how many a single sold, it's about whether when it starts playing, the beat grabs you and doesn't let you go. There was a brief period when the music coming out of Jamaica simply eclipsed everything else. It couldn't last, it never does, look at Motown, but while it does, it is incredible.
FIJI was under British before independence in 1970.Reggae cassettes,records were available in the 70s.This song was my favourite and l was in primary school.
