I didn't know this version before. I'm a big fan of Karl, but honestly I think Dave did a great job on this album. I only don't know where this comes from .... if Karl didn't want to sing on that album (I don't know why he left the band during that period either ...), why would he want to vox-cover it afterwards? ... Can anyone explain? .... Would be nice to find out the reason why he wasn't on the album and why he did this voiceover later ... hm. Anyway, I love the song!
Apparently, when Karl rejoined Bolt Thrower after Dave left, the rerecorded the album with Kalr singing but did not release anything. I don't know, however, whether the recording had more demo- or proper album-quality.

To me, Willets if the definitive voice of Bolt Thrower, regardless of how well Ingram did the vocals, and he really did do them well.

Ingram is amazing, but it sounds, "right" with Karl.
Dave's lyrics were great. But Karl vocals.
Willets is good, but I prefer Ingram
