About Seinfeld:
Seinfeld stars Jerry Seinfeld as a stand-up comedian whose life in New York City is made even more chaotic by his quirky group of friends who join him in wrestling with life's most perplexing, yet often trivial questions. Often described as "a show about nothing," Seinfeld mines the humor in life's mundane situations like waiting in line, searching for a lost item, or the trials and tribulations of dating. Co-starring are Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Jerry's ex-girlfriend and current platonic pal, Elaine Benes; Jason Alexander as George Costanza, Jerry's neurotic hard-luck best friend; and Michael Richards as Jerry's eccentric neighbor, Kramer.

bit.ly/OfficialSeinfeld - Komedie
Ive owned a Muffin store for 22 years and I can’t tell you how many times customers asked about muffin tops or joked about this episode……
So do you sell muffin tops
So sell muffin tops then! The rest of the parts suck!
So you got stumps? Are they war veterans? 😂
You're the muffin man.
Did you also include an exclamation point at the end of your store name?
The dude eating the muffin top getting surly for no reason is still hilarious
I always loved that part 😂😂😂
What did I just say ?
@@anthonyf1548 😒😂😂😂😂😂😂
that's new york for ya
I'm from Alabama and while I've done my fair share of traveling, I've often heard people in the North East can be extremely rude, I'm under the impression that most New Yorkers would act that way.
1:29 is so hilarious. "What did I just say?" Haha random rude guy. This show is timeless and has moments like this grounded in reality
SERENITY NOW!!!
Insanity later...
The recurring gag designed by jerry and Larry was having the public be unhelpful or rude for no apparent reason, something Larry carried on with in curb
His delivery of “what did I just say?” is flawless.
@@johnb1150i mean all of them are pretty damn unhelpful and the show ends with how little compassion they actually have for other people leading to being jailed😂
@@johnb1150this is just a realistic depiction of New York people
You cut the best part.
When they hired Newmann to eat the stumps.
he makes problems go away...
Forgive him if he's curt, but time is of the essence.
And comes in with a case that has several bottle of milk inside.
My wife and I snuck into second movie at a multiplex and saw Wayne Knight... but we didn't want to approach him because we were committing a crime.... It was perhaps our most Seinfeldian moment.
they should make bread pudding out of the stumps.
“Let them eat muffin stumps” -Elaine Antoinette
😂
"Why don't you just drop off some chicken skins and lobster shells??!" That always cracks me up.
@Susie Derkins Not the point.
@@ThatVeryArtGal Yes it was. This is a comedy show.
*”I THINK I MIGHT!!!!”* Elaine matching Rebecca De Mornay’s temper like the badass she is.
@@12classics39 Elaine is always ready to throw down and won't back off. I loved when she challenged Frank Costanza and threatened to drop him like a bag of dirt.
I don’t what that lady’s problem was? There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the muffin bottoms. But I suppose it’s supposed to be ridiculous.
"Top of the muffin *TO YOU!!!* "
I posted the same!
I heard that in Jacksepticeye voice...
You’re using too many exclamation points. Stop!!!! I mean….stop.
When Lippman says “no, no it is!” to Elaine saying its not Top of the Muffin TO YOU! That was just hilarious
More so Elaine's facial reaction
She is such a hypocrite. She claims to love exclamation points to Jake Jarmel but here she does not
@@abaofifsz And Lippman literally said that he hates exclamation points in that very same episode 🤔
“This is a garbage dump, just let me dump it!”
-“can’t do it”
@@cursedbeats9934 That's what I'd like to know about it.
"Rebecca DeMorney" was a gem hahaha
"I'm gonna jump over this counter and punch you in the brain!!" 😀
She was all fired up lmao
“They’re just stumps” was my favorite part. I think it’s the delivery of it
Why don’t you just drop off some chicken skins and lobster shells??!! 😂😂😂😂😂
Perfect analogy!!
She should have been a reoccurring character
The idea of ripping the stump off and wasting it rather than just selling the whole thing to the customer for an extra ten cents or whatever. It's completely absurd, but in such a subtle way. This show is truly one of a kind.
Why would it be an extra ten cents? It cost the same thing to make it, if anything more labor to separate the tops.
De Mornay , Rebecca De Mornay! The way she announce her self. Like she was the actress from Risky Business,Always crack me up.
One of the Classic episodes so many funny bits. Peterman using Kramer's stories, Kramer doing the bus tour, and of course the Muffin Tops.
And the werewolf chest from Jerry!
@@temsedgwick9494 😂😂😂
And don’t forget the stumps. Rumor has it, they were war veterans.
And the irony about the exclamation points!!
And Elaine's old boss using exclamation points.
"are they war veterans?" 🤣
Seinfeld, where even the homeless in NYC are finicky, neurotic people.
😂
If I was homeless, I would fill myself with muffin stumps until I exploded.
I took that Kramer Reality Tour bus when I moved to NYC in 1998. The real Kramer did a half hour of stand up on the bus. He was funny.
4:01 “I think I might!!” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love Elaine‘s issue with exclamation points
Especially when she broke up with a man because he didn’t use them! She would put them on all of her sentences! On this one! And on that one!
The homeless shelter lady was a character written ahead of her time.
Karen?
@@bink nah thats not a Karen. Ure missing it
@@bink Rebecca De Mornay
@@bink no she just looking after the homeless folk and taking good care of them. You’re the Karen.
@@kishascape She should've just been grateful for the stumps then, some homeless don't even get stumps.
“I got stump trouble” 🤣🤣🤣
Are they war veterans?
“Where’s the top of this muffin? Who ate the rest of this?”
I've always loved when Lipman says: "No! No; it is!".
That's gotta be one of the funniest cameos..."Rebecca DeMornay" "They're just stumps!" 😹 "Why don't you just drop off some chicken skins and lobster shells?!" 🤣
She was an excellent foil for Elaine.
I can't believe you missed Newman coming in at the end in a Ferrari with milk bottles to eat the leftover stubs.
A Muffin top store? What did I just say? In the blooper take she answers:The $* is your problem 😄
Elaine: 'Exclamation points for me but not for thee!'
Muffin stubs are just little cakes - cover with icing or mold into cake pops - easy peasy lemon squeezy
The reference to Jerry's Seinlanguage book is so cheeky and I love it
Love "Rebecca de Mornay". Her attitude is priceless! "They're just STUMPS!" LOL! She made a couple of bookstore appearances too.
“Why don’t you just drop off some chicken skins and lobster shells!”
@@12Blueace I think I might!
best one of her was "ITS BAD ENOUGH that we have some nut out there trying to strap 'em to a rickshaw" 😁😁
she did a good job portraying how annoying black people are.
De Money
“We have a bonus ultra-reality stop today. We’re gonna be hauling muffin stumps to the local…repository!” Kramer’s effort to make that sound like a legitimately exciting experience is very commendable.
"Hey you're hurting my elbow!!"
I laugh every. single. time.
That lady from the homeless shelter was so FUNNY HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!
Jerry's stand-in, Deck McKenzie, is at 1:30. I'm pretty sure the "what did I just say?" line is a callback joke to the subway episode where Kramer overhears two guys talking about betting on horse races. His father was a mudder. His mother was a mudder.
The discussion about the exclamation point is also a callback joke to an episode where Lippman tells Elaine to stop using so many exclamation points in her articles.
Deck delivered that line like a pro!
That is exactly what episode I thought of… Is it the same guy?
What’s your name, darling?
Who are you?
I’m the real Peterman.
All right play time’s over.
1:30 the blatant rudeness from the guy just makes me crack up every time!
lmfao, What'd I just SAY?!

@@TheRealMycanthropeyeah…it is telling “lol”. Is this how you usually communicate?
I was at a McDonald's the other day and I saw muffin tops for sale there. I guess Mr. Lippman works for them now
They have blueberry muffins, apple fritters and cinnamon rolls. I've never seen muffin tops...not even on their website menu.
@@bossfan49 obviously he's forgotten to remove them from the stumps!🙄

1:25 love the unnecessary rude stranger 😂
If only cake pops were a thing back then, they could've used the stumps to make muffin pops
Good to know, I’m been wondering what muffin stumps could be used to make
@@cya2139 Time to open your own store!!!!1o
There's no way the name Rebecca De Mornay was random. Especially when she was that well known during this show
Top of the muffins TO YOU!!!!!!
I love how Elaine doesn’t take anyones crap.
But the guy she ran into surprised her with his rudeness. Generally men don’t do that to her 😂
@@NotShowingOff
I think it has more to do with the fact that the stranger's passive-aggressiveness was unprovoked and out of left field.
Kramer giving autographs is very funny. He is the real Peterman 🤣🤣🤣
What's your name darling?
He’s the real Kramer though
Chicken skin and lobster shells! 😆
Fried chicken skins are delicious!
@@jjryan1352 Now I'm in the mood for a lobster shell.
Use the stumps to make cupcakes. And you’re set.
Oh my God... revelation.
I always admired Elaine’s defense against Miss DeMorney. 😂😂
My wife and I just had an argument about this 2 days ago because she ripped the top off of a muffin and left the stump in the box. We nearly broke up because of it.
I think once you're married it's not called breaking up anymore.
Yeah, I’m sure that really happened. What a sad man to make up a story about a nonexistent wife.
_Don't let the flame die out!_
@@jimmymackinnon8474 What about the man going out of his way to call it out?
@@jimmymackinnon8474 Have you ever heard of the concept of "Suspension of disbelief"?
The Pulp Fiction reference at the end of this episode was awesome. Should have included it here.
Rebecca DeMorney has got to be one of the most underrated bit part characters of the series.
She’s a Karen
She's freaking hilarious
Kinda like Slippery Pete and Silvio the super, it's too bad the show didn't keep going to get more of them.
She was lame-o 🫢
I think she is the worst. The only character I never liked. ^^*
The Hand That Rocks the Cradle

Top of the muffin TO YOUUUU!!
Lmfao, Shlomo at the back, the driver from the frogger. 😂🤣😆
"are they war veterans?" Then he makes a sad face...Lmao 🤣 Kramer is crazy... He's hilarious 😆
They left out one of the best parts, where Newman comes in and eats the stumps.
Wasn't he the same guy who was helping George in shifting the Frogger machine?
I can't eat a muffin without thinking about this.
Why don't you just drop off some chicken skins and lobster shells?! 😂

Muffin stumps, chicken skins and lobster shells. If the homeless don’t like them, the homeless don’t have to eat them.

They should be grateful. What do they expect - filet mignon and caviar?
Oh elaine, I thought you like explanation point
The top of the muffin is the best part 😋
Love Elaine she's crazy 🙂
Elain and George 50% the rest of characters 50%
Kramer couldn’t take on those two Waldenbooks security guards?
Kramer is a lover, not a fighter.
I don’t know, they looked pretty tough; like those street toughs who took the armoire?
4:45 Shlomo the truck driver from the Frogger episode
4:47 That's one of the guys that was supposed to help George move the Frogger machine XD
“Rebecca De Mornay” 🤣😂🤣😂

Michael Richards gets my vote for king of physical comedy.
His tripping makes me laugh every time!
@@ryukomatoi592 His character all made sense when Elaine called him a hipster doofus lol
My favorite is when he's at Calvin Klein and tries to suavely lean on the wall, but it's a curved wall and he slowly slides over and falls 🤣🤣
Absolutely.
Million percent, what a legend
I enjoy the whole muffin, but I do think the tops are the best. :)
Love this episode. The Peterman Reality tour!
YES, they are lucky to be given anything!!!!!!!!!
Muffin tops are the only food where eating too much of it actually turns you into it.
Good one! 😁
It turns you into someone with the body type of a male feminist
Pound cakes?

0:45 I can't believe even this early on the episode people were complaining about the muffin stumps...
...A lone muffin stump that was *properly thrown away.*

If they were smarter they would've turned the muffin bottoms into bread pudding or something.
First you pop the top, and toss the stump.
Should have been, "...and then you dump the stump." 😄
@@megsie1424 Fixed. Wrote the comment before I watched the clip. :o)
I don’t get Elaine. She breaks up with a guy for not using exclamation points in notes to her. Now she doesn’t like them?
And her boss did not like it when Elaine used then unnecessarily during editing. Now her boss is using it unnecessarily.
Literally every single women ever! 😂

They obviously forgot that when they wrote this episode.
@@up3315 No, that's the whole point. Lippman gave Elaine trouble for her use of exclamation points...now their roles are flipped. That's what makes it so funny.
Post-covid, I'm thinking of starting a new neighborhood business... Muffin Stumps !
They coulda made cake pops with them stumps, they would’ve really been raking in dough
Dang, I want a muffin now.
So beggar can be chooser apparently.
The secret to Seinfeld's humor, IMO, is the concept of the "show about nothing." "Nothing" includes muffin tops, double dipping, regifting, etc. The list goes on and on.
How meta, my reply is also about nothing.
Interesting enough, it's the nothing no one talks about but it's important to everyone.
It's not exactly "nothing" but rather a show about trivialities growing out of hand. It's like covering a lie with a bigger lie until the whole thing unravels.
I was in the store the other day..... an ENTIRE DISPLAY OF MUFFIN TOPS FOR SALE
To this day, the top of the muffin is still the best.
Was that supposed to change at some point? She's right, they're the best part.
@@sws212 I suppose not. One of those universal constants lol.
