I remember doing this design often on my nails back when I was 11 it was so fun and I remember one girl thought it was professionally done and I told her I did them and she was like what omg they look amazing. This print is so fun to do 🥰

Hi thank you for this video it’s so helpful! I had a question absolute the gel glue, when I apply it and press down I notice that a lot of glue passes the end of the nail but I notice when you do it it’s perfectly and stops right at the top of the nail how can I achieve this? Then when I put less glue seems like it’s harder to cover the whole nail! Help!
measuring out how much naturally to fit each nail takes time but I usually don't press the nail tip down super hard. once it reaches the tip I stop... but you don't want to put a lot of gel and do that because then the nail will be raised. just start out with a little bit of gel and add more if needed

Mine usually last 4-6 weeks! It may also be your gel lamp may not be as strong. Check the wattage on it. At least 72W

so how long should you cure the nails for after applying the tips? a lot of ppl do 15 sec and then once they finish all they put them all in for another minute. is that necessary? lmk :))
yes it is very necessary to sure for a full min after all the nails are one because the small light does not cure it all the way

I recently started using apres Gel-X but find them to be extremely thin maybe bc Im so used to acrylic and it being eay sturdier? Idk but I feel like I going to break a nail when theyre long even with 3-4 coats of gel polish ontop. Any tips to make them feel stronger ? Someone told me to add acrylic to the top but thats kinda defeating the purpose of Gel-X.

What about putting a layer of builder gel underneath the whole length of the nail? That's what I do and it helps give some a little more sturdiness.

They are more natural then acrylic. Try using sculpted tips. A bit thicker and you could also use rubber base gel on top to add more strength
