SCOSCHE NEXC1 Dash Cam by Nexar install and review

- I install the SCOSCHE NEXC1 Dash Cam in my Toyota 4Runner and go through the Nexar app. I used a Dongar Technologies adapter to get power from my rear view mirror.

Epic ending, shows you why you all need a dash cam. People will do one thing, then lie and say another when/if an accident occurs.
Yea I got this dash cam has a different mount thou for free because my dad originally got it for his car but didn’t know how to work it so I asked him if I can have it and he gave it to me

Could you run a micro USB OBD 3 pin adapter ? those are around 13 bucks on line.

Are you able to slow down the time laps videos. And if you fill the sd card full can you take what’s on it in the app and put it in your camera roll and wipe the sd card clean and still keep the videos?
You will want to save anything you want to permanently keep ASAP to your camera roll. The camera automatically records over old footage once it’s full and some footage may be available on the app depending on how you have it set up. Once it’s uploaded to the cloud as a time lapse I don’t think you can do much.

It can record straight to the card. But I feel after the newest update, it doesn’t start recording. It’s Fken stupid and just connecting it over its wifi is a pain
Really hard to connected to my Android phone, I follow all the instructions they have, call 24/7 number don't answer, try to contact them to nexar app, no luck, I going to disconnected and take back where I buy it....

No wash the suction surface with soap and water. Should bring the sticky back to life.

yes you can move the camera to record inside. Why wouldn't moving the camera work?

Everything works but the audio isnt recorded for some reason
There’s an option for record audio and then it doesn’t play until you save a clip
By default, it does not record audio. I discovered the option in the Nexar app.

They do not need phone location access to start and stop recording drives. It should be recording any time the unit is turned on. That is a completely bullshit "feature."
TERRIBLE dash cam I made a big mistake purchasing this and this gave me a world of different problems such as late start recording, random disconnections,,, videos not getting saved to the app..
None for Volvo. Or Mercedes I’ll pass
