    • @MrPista
      @MrPista  Před 6 měsíci +1

      That's pretty cool haha
      If I remember correctly, the 2.0 tfsi is rather reliable, but Audis il4s can have Some kind of Timing chain issue. They also burn oil sometimes and might even suffer from piston seizure.
      The 3.2 can also be fine, but they can have the same issues and these engines can straight up fail even below 50k km...
      If they were total crap, not many people would buy them, but there are quite a few people with Bad experiences... You can look into some Forums, to read some peoples storys
      Btw, in what country Do you live? Audi parts can be hard to get or just take long to arrive in some places.
      I'd go with a Diesel, becauese Audi / VW tdi engines are super reliabile, fuel efficient and the 3.0 has great power. (good enough for Porsches Cayenne)
      I also have 3 People with 2.0tdi engines in my family, so I know their experiences!
      They have about 230k, 270k and 540k km on them without ever having real isses... Just doing basic maintnance and driving responsibly.

    Hey Im thinking of getting my first car, being an A5 from 2011 with 270000km on it. Is that a good buy? Service is ok and it is modded with 3.0 tdi, s tronic, s-line, bang olufsen set, xenon lights.
    Price is 10k in Denmark
    I just love the looks of it and want to add 50000km of my own to it, then sell it again 😊

    • @MrPista
      @MrPista  Před 4 měsíci

      Right away, I'd actually consider one with the 3.0 tdi and that milage myself...(Though I'd take a manual over the s tronic, but the s tronic is a good transmission) And as long as the mods don't go as far as making it less reliable, the car should be totaly fine!
      But being a 2011, is it the facelift or still the 1st one? Becauese if it's the fl, 10k sounds alright too🤷‍♂️
      But btw, adding 500k km to sell it again sounds a bit optimistic haha
      The A5 really is an incredible and gorgeous car, so I'm absoluteley on your side when getting one! I still want one, but I can't really decide between getting one of them or a BMW E39 5 series...

    • @Dramox.
      @Dramox. Před 4 měsíci

      @@MrPista sorry, I meant to say 50k km not 500k. I just want to enjoy a nice car during my mid 20’s, then sell it again haha. But yeah I might look into a TDI version. Is 3.0 much better or fun compared to a 1.8 or 2.0 engine?
      Thanks a lot for this feedback! I just want to make the right decision without spending 5000 on parts a year later :)

    • @MrPista
      @MrPista  Před 4 měsíci

      @@Dramox. That's a big difference in km hahah
      I understand you. A nice car to enjoy for a good while, without many issues.
      When looking at the tdi ones (generally more reliable than the gasonine engines), the 3.0 is probably the best one overall. Both in Performance and reliability.
      I mean they got like 240HP and a 2.0 for example like 150HP I think... So you really feel a difference in speed and fun. Also the 3.0 comes with quattro as Standard and the other ones can also be just FWD. There also is the 2.7 tdi with 200HP, but they are a little worse on fuel than a 3.0, so no need to get one...
      The il4 tdi engines are very reliable too (got some 2.0 tdis with 280k, 540k and 230k km in my family. Never had any Real issues) but they are rather for commuting, instead of more fun drives🤷‍♂️
      So depending on the condition of the car you're looking at, you just might need to do maintnance stuff like sparkplugs or Fluid changes, or maybe need to fix up some suspension parts, if sth isn't right. Just ask the owner about things like that and when they were last done.
      Though you should always be careful buying a modified car... There are well looked after ones, but also total shitboxes out there...
      Wish you the best of luck!

      Well, most people don't even bother with 'older' cars. And especially people in America, rarely get the A5 a lot of attention 🤷‍♂️
      So I mean, I get you point my guy, but these cars are still quite underrated

      @@MrPista I love old car too but mostly the old flagship, but actually cheap and cool car doesn't necessarily need to be an old flagship, try the used Genesis G70 first gen, it's cheaper than new Corolla or Civic.

      @@AlMansurpictures I really like such cars too! It's just the best deal you can get for your money haha
      Genesis generally really impressed me over the last few years, but here in Germany they aren't really cheap
      Btw, most used cars are cheaper than a New Corolla or Civic👀
