The agony in both voices, male and female, is completely of different texture and is brought in by Kishor Da and Lata Didi in such a painfully sweet way.... No one, just no one can do that any more.

You can tell Rahulji trying hard to confine his vocal prowess so as not to lose the essence of the original song. Aarya has an angels voice. The musicians are super talented as well. Overall a jabardast performance!

@@BlokeBritish Let's stop the discussion here. I do not think that greatness is connected to fame, if it was then more than half of bollywood would not be. This is about skill, knowledge, and his ability to sing the hardest things and making it seem easy. Fame can be bought but knowledge can't. And yes he is recognised all over India as an ambassador of classical music, he recently received a national award for his movie too! You cannot argue over his ability and ease of presenting the hardest ragas in the easiest way and engaging & involving the audience in the melody! Rahul ji will always be one of the greatest classical singers of all time!
