I love Ohio...I moved away to the blackhills and it's pretty cool here to. Definitely different fishing like alot of trout and pike. I love it but I miss chasing them smallies in the Great Miami/stillwater rivers

Man that was fun. Thanks for the invite especially since my truck was in the shop and was gonna be stuck at home all weekend. I went back to that first spot a couple weeks later and caught my first ever glide bait fish on an s waver 168. Crazy what those little creeks can produce. 🤯
Okay I thought I responded earlier but I don’t see my comment so I’ll reply again lol. But no I’m like you, I horse those puppies in hard and fast and I have noticed that you (and I) don’t lose many fish once they are hooked. Brad has a cool style of fighting them though, reminds me of trout fishing on a fly Rod. Just allowing them to tucker out a lot before calmly bringing them in. Cool to see difference styles of fishing
Me too! I tend to use heavy set ups though when bass fishing so I’m comfortable with that. I wonder if I spook a lot of fish though because of always using braid with no leader line… I may dabble into some leaders but I feel like they defeat the purpose of the braid lol. It’s a mental block for me

I'm in Ohio too, lake fishing is pretty tough in this heat, might have to try creek or cuyahoga river in the shade😊
