Excellent review and unboxing. I really like the enthusiasm you bring to Napoleonics. Its great painting listening to your videos. I live the history and military detail you bring to your channel and the reviews of all the model miniatures from different games companies. I'm just picking up Black Powder now. I've built my Napoleonics to suit Sharp Practice but by getting additional square bases to take four troopers I can interchange very nicely between Sharp Practice and now BP. Charlie Foxtrot bases is my go to base supplier. I'm building British and French, peninsular war. I'm sold on Perry and Victrix.

Finished this starter set a couple of weeks ago. I was rather disappointed that there were no center companies but it is still a good set. Just finished a Swiss Battalion. I'm rather new to the new to tabletop wargaming and these vidoes have help me build my French and British armies. Love the videos keep up the good work.

Glad you're enjoying it..yeah, a very odd decision not to have commands...well done on the Swiss, I'm working my way though them too!

I don't normally bother with unboxing videos but enjoyed yours - always enjoy your broadcasts. I've long had a problem with manufacturers depicting French at Waterloo with greatcoats - I suspect it's exaggerated and I believe an army on the attack in mid summer when it rained the night before would be too hot and it would be too humid. I also believe armies with time to prepare would dress to impress on the day of battle before their Emperor on what most understood could have been their last. So ... (finally getting to my question) ... why are the British figures made in dress uniform and (but so often with shako covers) and the French not? Fighting a battle is hot work.

Ok. I don’t need another Miniature game to my wall of shame, but you are tempting me.

Been loving your videos. I'm very new to the napoleonic era and your videos have been very interesting. I've been looking into starting a peninsular army and was wondering if you consider making another getting started video for the British and French but for the peninsular rather then later war? But keep up the good work

Looking to start Black powder French, would like to start some mid 1809-1812 French. But I think I will pick up the Waterloo starter set to get started.

Love your channel! It has kept me company whilst painting my first historical army (acw). I was wondering if you have considered doing any videos about Napoleon's campaign in Egypt? I am thinking of getting into Napoleonics and am leaning towards building a French in Egypt army. Would love to see this period covered more.

You are 1000% speaking my language! I absolutely love the Egypt campaign, and I absolutely will be doing more! In fact, this October will be focused entirely on the Egyptian Campaign! In fact, I'm painting some Egyptian fellaheen for it as we speak!

Thanks man! It's looking like I might have to push the completion date back a couple of weeks though...but dont worry it's due to a different Napoleonic army needing the love!
