Maison Francis Kurkdjian Gentle Fluidity In Silver Edition: nutmeg and ambery woods are dominant and release a vibrant, comfortable trail. As for juniper berry essence, it leads to an ascending, ultra-fresh, aromatic note, similar to a “gin frappé” effect, balanced by the dry, slightly balmy, spicy notes of nutmeg. The base notes reveal ambery wood facets ranging from sweet and enveloping to powerful and dry.
Maison Francis Kurkdjian Gentle Fluidity In Gold Edition: In gentle Fluidity’s (gold) generous, enveloping trail, we can find coriander seed essence and an overdose of musks and vanilla. The floral, spicy note of coriander seeds brings, just like musks, ethereal volume and a lingering trail. In the base notes, the gourmand, reassuring notes of the vanilla accord enhanced by the ambery woods reveal a radiant, bright silhouette.

I went to Mfk boutique and smelled this two sents. Gentle Fluidity Gold is a master piece in my opinion. It is airy and sweet delicious vanilla. I love it. ♥️♥️ I love Mfk fragrances they are amazing, their Musc is from paradise.

I tried these two fragrances this last Saturday and I was a bit disappointed ☹ the Silver was just a very familiar fresh, musky scent and the Gold was sweeter and creamier, but nothing that wowed me. Maybe need to give them a second chance!
I like MFK as a whole and my absolute favorites are Grand Soir and Oud Satin Mood 😍

I read about this and I really want to try it. Both sound great and I can see how they would be great to layer together.
Last Saturday I got both samples, $225 will be the price, the Silver one gave me a blast of GIT from 2010, I have compared both sides by side and it does have similarities, I believe the Juniper Berries. The Gold one its full Vanilla to my nose, coriander and for some reason a bit of Tonka Amber combo, need to play with them more. Solid release, maybe blending them together will increase my desire to buy them or just buy the silver one, not sure yet. Thanks for sharing, Sebastian!!!!
Bought the "women wardrobe" discovery set which contains 8 fragrances. I tried them both, and the Gold GF is reallyyy good, floral but sweet and creamy. Im usually not a fan if anything too floral, but thus one is beautiful. The Silver GF on the paper strip and on skin my nose does perceive that metallic, fresh, dry and very woody vintage cologne. I feel that is suuuuper masculine and very hard for me to wear. Probably wouldnt mind wearing it on a man, but probably more suitable for mature men. I feel that the Gold leans more feminine and I struggle to find any of these unisex, even though, I do believe tha fragrance is unisex and you can wear whatever you want. Moving forward I would definitely use the Gold and definitevely NOT use the Silver. Also in love with BR 540, is an experience on its own.
Both sound nice. I only have samples of some from this House and the ones I like are, BR 540, Grand Soir, Oud Satin and APOM Homme. Enjoyed the vid ✌🏻
Another first review on this Channel! Favourite is BR 540. Got the EDP, thinking of getting the Extrait as well. I like Aqua Universalis, too.
The Silver one could be a crowd pleaser I guess. The dry down is sweet and a bit warm. The Gold one smells a bit familiar to my nose. Great review ! Cheers !
Wow. I just got samples for both of these. I'm a woman btw and by them selves they smell amazing but layered together. All I can say is that I cannot stop smelling myself. They are so so strong so just a little bit goes a long way. My daughter has never told me that she can smell me. Try them. This is how I can describe them. The silver is fresh and the gold is sweet. They are changing on me like all quality perfumes do. I had never used good quality perfumes so I had no clue what I was missing.
Now I'm loving the silver more!!! It's very unique!!!

Really like the Aqua universalis combo. There are only a few from Kurkdjian that don't agree with me, and they're all from the designer side. Only found out the other day that he also did Silver Shadow! But as far as sweet - leaning aromatics, he's king in my books.
Saw them at Neiman Marcus and got really excited. I love MFK. I want the Silver most but I wouldn't mind both.

Eh I’ve never been keen on baccarat rouge 540 however I do like the extriat version. I love the gold version and plan on purchasing that one. I wound up getting the baccarat rouge dupe Cloud by Ariana Grande. On initial sniff, it doesn’t smell like baccarat rouge at all. It morphes and changes into ultimately baccarat rouge. It has to sit on your skin for a while for you to get the similarities. However, I will say baccarat rouge is more smooth and you can tell that the perfume oils are of a more better quality than what is used in Cloud. But I feel like you’d have to be very well versed in perfumery to be able to tell the difference. But this review of the current perfume you did I absolutely love! I am in love with the gold edp and plan on getting that along with baccarat rouge 540 extriat because it smells of pure luxury and quality. It lasts and lasts and lasts so I only need two sprays. It’s very potent as it should be for $425 dollars! 😨

I absolutely love vanilla and so I opted to get a sample of the Gold when I smelled both at NM the week before release. I have worn it multiple times, it is a super easy reach for work and even though I wouldn’t call it “special” it smells exactly like the name suggests, very gentle slightly metallic but lightly warm and vanilla musky. I think of all MFK fragrances (I’ve tried several but not fallen in love with any) this is one I might eventually pick up due to its versatility and the way it makes me feel.
I would say I like Oud Silk Mood and BR540 Extrait as well, just need to be in a particular mood for each.

Silver version is like a modern irish tweed. I like it alot!
Now available in South Korea. I sampled both a few days ago. The silver, I got juniper berry/gin and the gold is all about vanilla for me. I liked both of them. But the gold one is not unique enough for me to buy the bottle.
I like the gold GF. It first hits me with effervescent sparkling spices(gentle way) and sits on my skin with vanilla after awhile...A nice scent, but not a wow scent.
The gold version a luxury coriander seed i thought that is tonk a been, i caught that bait same with Dior Feve D , and the silver also bait of Creed green irish twist.
But i will got 2 of them, coz I'm a big fan of MFK. i got oud ext,our satin ext,540 ext, 540 edp, le beau and lumberer noire..
I feel like Francis Kurkdjian doesn't release bad fragrances. So many great releases from his house
They're all good but in no way shape or form worth the asking price

Gentle Fluidity Gold sometimes reminds me of Eau des Missions, and that's fine by me.
These two are my favorite so far. I'm actually not the biggest fan of the Baccarat Rouge 540. as for these two I really do enjoy actually more so the silver than anything and its very long lasting on me...... like next day lasting lol. I have also tried Grand Soir and I do enjoy it as well but still not as much as these two. Next I would like to try some of the Aquas.
The Silver version sounds promising, but I think that some MFK fragrances are a bit boring. The signature of this brand is the transparency and certain musks that are used, but not always for the better. I like masculin Pluriel, though, and the Ouds are well-done, too.
My faves are Cashmere Oud and Oud Satin Mood

I'm a major MFK fan. It's one of my favorites. My favorite scents are Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait de Parfum, and Grand Soir. My Husband and I have both the Silver & Gold. He loves the Silver, I love the Gold. We have not layered them so I am excited to give that a try. Quick question...You mentioned your mother would warm coriander seeds on a pan. I am intrigued. I can only imagine how wonderful that smells and I would like to try it. I'm wondering if she used any oil or no oil? Silly question, I know, but I AM going to try this.
No oil, you let the natural oils of the coriander release with the heat😃

I smelled it on myself a full 20 hrs later. I hope you ended up purchasing and loving it. Complete "eye roller" for me.
The silver is very similar to Cool Water / Green Irish Tweed, like a modern version of them. Didn't notice any gin there.

Love MFK, but I was disappointed with these two. The gold one was better than the silver one, in my view. Grand Soir has been reformulated and now is merely a shadow of its former self. LVMH is destroying this house!

Silver is very close to GIT in the drydown. Gold gives assosiations to cafe rose. I really get some rose note going on there together with vanilla, but its not listed.
To me, these are ok, nothing more and defintivly not worth the price. They are very synthetic feeling and they give me headache. Many mfk has to much power and feels syntethic. Overall im not fan of the house, but they certainly have some nice releases such as «Oud» and Baccarat.

Mfk reformulated grand soir. I despise him now.
Tested side by side my 2016 and 2017 bottles that i own with 2018. Colours dont match, scent is more musky and less vanilla, longevity and projection cut in half.
Yeah...the current formulation of Grand Soir is truly trash...weak, watered down, overpriced, sugary smelling trash...8 sprays will last 30 minutes if youre lucky before its gone...colossal waste of money...MFK had become my favorite house before this..highly disappointed in the house, and Im done with MFK from now on

Actually i like the gritty sugary one, and it was indeed way more long lasting than the current one.
Sh*t, all of GS old batches in my country already gone. Even some decanters with 200ml bottle didn’t have anything left in stock. So long GS, your beast mode batch will be missed... forever.
