Bravo! More exceptional, world-beating playing from the LSO. Not only technical and tonal brilliance (fabulous sound from every section), but exceptionally musical direction from Sir Antonio. 👏
Yes. Pappano is one of the best living opera conductors, always great to see him on the concert stage.
@@MaxxUS08. The majority of the great conductors of the past trained in the opera house so his experience at the ROH is a very good indication of his development as a symphonic conductor. Good choice, L.S.O.
On behalf of the Tam Tam community, thank you!
You have to let it ring! I can’t agree with performances where they cut the tam tam off at the end

Beautiful
Que bien ... !
Yessir.
The harp sweeps + woodwind swirls are just so magical, so ghostly, glittery @4:53, @12:10. Are there works before this one which utilize this effect to this level of brilliance? (I know it now appears everywhere now in e.g. film scores)
Yeah
Lots of new faces in the orchestra! Why is that and where are Chris Richards and Carmine Lauri?
