Martha Wash has an amazing story. I can hear her tell her story over and over. It fascinates me so much especially her years performing with Sylvester. I once saw Martha & Izora exiting a Cadillac behind the Palladium in New York City. They were entering through the backstage entrance because they were doing a show that night. When I saw them you can just feel the years of performing just all around them. They were walking in as if was just another show to them. LoL.
I also had the privilege of seeing Martha & Izora singing background for Sylvester at a Record Pool party at the Pardise Garage in NYC IN 1986. There performance blew the roof of the place. They literally put to shame all the other performances that night. It felt like church in a Night Club. I was only 17 years old and I was watching these legends do what they do best, Sing. It was one of the most spiritual experiences of my life hearing all 3 of them sing on that stage. You can feel the love Martha, Sylvester & Izora had for each other. I was only 17 but I will never forget those voices. It was amazing.

I love you Martha Wash I met you years ago in DC during the anniversary celebration of Inner Light I sang what God has for me by LaShun Pace. Years later I met you during Light Health and Wellness’s event via Debbie Jacobs Rock I came to get your autograph and you remembered me and asked me if I was still singing and never let go of my gift. You truly touched my heart and soul and gave me a wink. Your words of encouragement and the fact that you remembered me was such a light in my life THANK YOU FOR BEING SO AMAZING AND BLESSED ❤️❤️❤️❤️

One in a trillion voice with unrivalled power and control. I still play that 1993 Martha Wash album. Sure, styles change, but her voice is as thrilling as ever.

Martha Wash has a very Beautiful and powerful singing voice. I did not like the way C & C Music Factory disrespected her.
Mrs. Wash deserves a life time achievement awards, and she is a TRULY LIVING LEGEND. Please give her, her props
