I thought I was the only one who’d fall asleep watching old F1 😂 to be fair, I grew up watching F1 races with my dad from when I was very little. So I think the sound of the engines (and the commentators’ familiar voices) is just naturally calming to me now.

watching these vids has inspired me to dust off my PS3/GT Logitech Wheel/Pedals and get back into Gran Turismo 5. Id finished 2 and 3, 100%. i have Gran Turismo 4 Prologue, somewhere. Cant remember WHY i stopped playing those. my Gran Turismo 5 is only like 15% done. Awhile back i did have to get my PS3 re-balled. im not sure if its my imagination or not but im under the suspicion its running HOT. might spring for PS4 [refurbished] or bite the bullet for a new PS5.

watch a track guide and then practice :) seems daunting at first but it really doesn't take that long to learn a new track to a basic level. Takes a long time to get really good at it of course, but just learning which corner is coming up next and roughly where to brake doesn't take long
