If you make a deal, it might be a good idea to get everyone on board and clear that house in a weekend. I'm talking Patience's Brother, Patience, Christian, George, Conky, the 6 cents guy, and his crew, and get it done or else dealing with this guy for weeks will be a nightmare.

Thatâs gonna be a tough one like others have said he keeps adding to the exclusion list. Even look at how he was in the bedroom rooting through each tray and dumping stuff on the floor because there is something in every tray he wants to keep. I would hope it goes well but can see it turning dirty very quickly too.

I recommend you find a hoarder house where the person has passed and the family is not attached to the hoard. Otherwise, he needs several therapy sessions and the therapist present with him in another location when you empty the house.

I would want what was included and excluded in writing. So there's no confusion. It sounds like he keeps adding on to what is excluded.
He really needs to look at rooms and make up his mind to sell. I think he is still emotionally connected to his collections.

The amount of these deals I do and after that, the person says Iâm keeping this and this belongs to someone else. It has to be super clear it includes every single piece and if they want to keep any thing they have to buy it off you at full value.

Lots of stuff....but lots of hassle. Everytime he turned around it was "except that". I can see this becoming a "he said, she said" on what's included and what's not. I'm guessing you'll have an iron-clad written contract to protect yourself.
I can see it nowâŠ..if this person accepts Jeremyâs offer, within 48 hours he will be back watching over it all pointing out âNO, that wasnât part of my deal!â This will be one of the biggest headaches ever! There is a fine line between hoarders and collectors. If you hoard valuables you are a collector, if you hoard newspapers, well.....
