Adiyogi is a 112-foot (34-meter) tall, 45-meter (147-foot) long, and 25-meter (82-foot) wide steel bust of Shiva in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. It is the largest bust sculpture in the world, according to Guinness World Records. The statue is located in the Isha Yoga Center and is open from 8 AM-8 PM.
Sadhguru, the founder and head of the Isha Foundation, designed the statue, which is made of 500 tons (490 long tons; 550 short tons) of steel. The statue is surrounded by green farms at the foothills of Velliagiri Mountain in the Western Ghats.
The statue is said to inspire people towards inner well-being through yoga and to have transmitted the science of yoga to his seven disciples, the Saptarishis, over 15,000 years ago. The statue's face is designed to exude three aspects: exuberance, stillness, and intoxication.
The center offers several offerings, including:
Yoga Sandhya: A 40-minute program that can help with health and spiritual benefits
Samarpane: An offering of a coconut and red earth to Yogeshwar Linga
Adiyogi Divya Darshanam: A video imaging show that features Sadhguru narrating the story of Adiyogi
