- The Aussie Bike or Hike Kickstarter is a two-day adventure riding course in Australia for people getting into adventure riding, even those just getting their licence.
Alex invited me to film the event, and Chris enjoyed her first tour.
The event combines tuition and a tour. The first half of the first day is drills to cement basic adventure riding techniques. The little things that make riding these bikes easier and more enjoyable.

The 200 km route took the long way back to Taree via a few spots familiar to anyone who has watched the Sydney to Gold Coast series.
Adventure riding often involves pushing yourself just outside your comfort zone, so we headed up a slightly more exciting path.
We stopped for lunch at the stunning Ellenborough Falls. At 200 metres, it’s one of the highest single-drop waterfalls in Australia. Once we’d topped up our food tanks, we headed back south to Taree.

Gday mate awesome video and worth it when getting into adventure riding i reckon. Are there any plans for you to change bikes or are you happy with the Tenere. What have you done suspension wise and anybother mods worth knowing about as im looking at going down that track and tossing up between tenere 660 or f800gs cheers mate
In fact, I just bought an F800GS, and my son will ride the 660. The 660 is a great bike, but I’m really looking forward to the GS.

My bike can travel approximately 140 kilometers before the orange light comes on, could that be a problem with your rides?
Just throw a 5L fuel bladder on, and that should be enough.
