  • The ultimate guide to creating a powerful team for M&MX! Due to a lot of confusion arising from the difficulty level of the game, I decided to give you some advice on how to create a viable party. I have already completed the game once, I'm currently replaying it for the second time using one of the teams suggested in this video; can you guess which one? ;)

    Hey people! I'm slowly trying to push for 1k subscribers so that I can get CZcams partner back (it has gone up to 1k sub requirement some time ago). This will allow me to monetize my videos and pour even more time into creating quality content for the channel. Your support means a lot to me, whether you sub or just watch and comment. Thanks for reading and see you around!

    Best Runelord critical: around 1300 fire dmg
    Best Archmage critical: around 1000 prime dmg
    Best Blademaster critical: around 450 dmg using starsilver blade and dragon flame tongue

    My Best Party: Blademaster, Runelord and 2x Archmage
    Explanation: Runelord starts the fight devastating everything around himself, followed by archmage implosion. If something stays alive with low hp blademaster finish them using cleave. 2nd archmage is sort of healing type having mastered light and earth magic, so his poison cloud is great contribution in combat.
    With this party build i had no problems finishing fort lagueire and summer palace was like walking in the park.

    Cheers for the vid, btw what do you think of barbarian 2 handed(no shield), Scout, druid and bladedancer?=) Cheers!

    • @MikefieldSalviae
      @MikefieldSalviae  Před 10 lety

      Barbarian is amazing (I'd suggest going spears on him/her).
      Bladedancer is also really strong, if you want to pick up scout, go for dual axes too. Scout + druid is all healing and defences your party needs. Scout has amazing damage potential, so does bd and barb while druid has a lot of buffs (try getting stoneskin of earth magic and heroic destiny of prime, both are expert spells!)

      tips.

    Nice guide my party consists on 1 blade dancer, 2 rune priests and a freemage I have 50ko in gold and I have npc that sells potions so there is no problem there

    Very good guide sir, bravo.
    Hope to see more video from you discuss about individual class in depth.
    My pick would be Mercenary since they have many options. I'm currently running a 2h Axe Merc, and he's a beast.
    The consistent damage output outshines my blade dancer.
    I'm keen on to know your opinion on each class.

      I might make a video on that soon (you could vote for that in my ubi forum thread). I'm really glad you liked it, cheers!

    Went with a Crusader/Bladedancer/Freemage/Druid setup, started to absolutely wreck shit towards the end of the game. Fucking blew through the last 2 hours
    Had a blast with the game! Cant wait for much needed improvements for it so that i can enjoy a second playthrough

      Well the new patch is up right now. What are you planning to play with?

  • @turetheman7
    @turetheman7 Před 10 lety +1

    I started playing with: crusader, dwarf defender, blade dancer and rune priest..at which abbilites (might, magic, etc.) should i focus upgrading at the beggining and in future game for each hero?

    • @MikefieldSalviae
      @MikefieldSalviae  Před 10 lety +1

      Crusader: go 3 might-1 vit with points. Max sword when you can (priority), get light to expert and learn heal. Get shield to expert too. Do not level heavy armor.
      Defender: 3might-1 vit or 2 might 2 vit. Max axes as a priority. Get shield to expert. Do not level heavy armor.
      Blade Dancer: Use light armor. 2might-2destiny. Max swords/daggers (EITHER), dual wield second, evade third.
      Rune Priest: 3magic-1spirit. Max fire/earth. Get focus to expert asap. From there on it's your choice.

      Mikefield Salviae and what do you think is it better that party solution or crusader, blade dancer, druid, freemage/rune priest?

    • @MikefieldSalviae
      @MikefieldSalviae  Před 10 lety +1

      Cass Clay Both will work, I think the second one will be better at killing stuff though (yet much more squishy)
      I don't think you need both druid and runemaster, however. You could probably go crus bladedancer rune freemage if you're so keen on double mages.

      Mikefield Salviae my only doubt is about primordal and dark magic..is it very important in game or i can survive without it?, and can i later in game unlock some skills like primordal magic, if i didnt choose while i was creating a party?

    • @MikefieldSalviae
      @MikefieldSalviae  Před 10 lety

      You don't need it to end the game. It's just useful.
      You can, adding points on party creation is like adding one skill point to a given skill (you get 3 skillpoints per level so don't worry)

  • @TyrannySue
    @TyrannySue Před 6 lety +1

    Don't you need a GM in dark magic to survive the battle at the end?

      @lukeyznaga7627 Před 4 měsíci

      of course you do. That is why i disagree a bit, with Mikefield's crew that he recommends.

    Why two tanks?
    1 crusader with master shield is enough.
    My setup was 1 crusader, 2 bladedancers and 1 freemage. Bladedancers ripped apart all enemies :)

    • @MikefieldSalviae
      @MikefieldSalviae  Před 10 lety

      I explained that in my guide. Tank is a makeshift term here pretty much since you want to deal damage on every character you have. You will want to have some damage soaking or defensive abilities on at least 1 character however, optimally two. I ran with crusader/barbarian and dwarven scout/hunter and I can assure you that those were very successful playthroughs. Like I said, however, it's up to you what classes you choose. This is a guide for the new players and it shows the safe way to play the game and makes it possible to complete it even if your build or knowledge of the game's mechanics are not optimal. Thanks for the comment!

    as for me - archer is fully uselles. better pick pala or dagger-dps

    • @MikefieldSalviae
      @MikefieldSalviae  Před 10 lety +1

      You can go scout/ranger with dual wield axes/daggs (they can GM those weapons) and do just fine. They both are hybrid classes which entails that you have access to master spells of either light or earth. I agree that ranged in this games needs some serious rework :/

  • @lukeyznaga7627
    @lukeyznaga7627 Před 4 měsíci

    you have to have at least one freemage. You can't just have tanks to win the game.

  • @Lama-Su
    @Lama-Su Před 10 lety

    Great Video thank you. In my Opinion the Ranger and Scout are the worst classes though, Range DPS is almost useless in this game, primary combat is melee range making Bows/Cross. almost useless for consistant Damage

    • @MikefieldSalviae
      @MikefieldSalviae  Před 10 lety +1

      As I've mentioned in the guide, Scout can be GM with axes and M with dualwield. Ranger on the other hand can be a GM with daggers AND master with earth magic (regen, stoneskin, more cool stuff).
      Therefore, you can use Ranger as decent damage dealer AND a secondary healer (especially with no other earth mages in your group) while the Scout is very durable and can use double axes.
      I do not argue those classes are as good as others but they are very playable. And fun. Don't you think so?

    • @Lama-Su
      @Lama-Su Před 10 lety

      They are fun if your looking for a challenge at playing with a disadvantage in using a weaker class.
      But the positives you listed can also be performed by other classes much better and with better promotion bonuses.

    • @huldu
      @huldu Před 10 lety +1

      I agree, ranged combat is useless. Tanks are useless as well. I wish I was just trolling right now but sadly I'm not. Just throw a few dps in and a healer or two and you're set. I haven't played a druid myself so no idea how good they are, I used a runepriest(light) and shaman(earth) as healers and I had no problem completing the game. The other two were bladedancer and defender. Bladedancer is amazing, enough said. Defender is a fifth wheel, hits like a wet noodle, most mobs are immune to taunt or it'll just plain miss(you need a lot of perception on your tank, if you pick one). Just don't bother with a tank is my advice. The best defense in m&mx is a good offense.

    • @JulzarMoonstone
      @JulzarMoonstone Před 10 lety +4

      Scouts aren't that bad. They have GM in Axes and are capable of dual wielding so they're not strictly a ranged class.

    • @MikefieldSalviae
      @MikefieldSalviae  Před 10 lety

      Wolkenritter Exactly my point Wolken.
      As far as tanks are concerned, I elaborated on that in the video (also on stat distribution). You need 2 beefier characters. I ran crusader and barb, I was skilling them 3might-1vitality with perception introduced later once I couldn't get attack bonus from the respective weapon skills. That worked well.
      I also ran dual axe scout in another playthrough. Both were on warrior level. I didn't lose too many fights tbh, Usually I had to load because of the crashes :P

    hahahaw, I watched guy dump every attribute in magic and just trash the game straight on...this game sucks.....with 80 hp mages just cast shilds and straight up kill everything, game is broken lol
