Every time Four hurts Bill, Four gains the same scar and same pain as him, because they both share the same body. If Bill dies, Four also dies as well, unless one of them gains enough power to come out of the host and becomes their own entity. Well, Cipher could become his physical form, but since he is already possessing Four, he doesn’t have enough power to escape out of him because both share the power combined from both of them.

now that I’ve been mentioned I feel obligated to explain fd
I haven’t read it in awhile so uhh here’s the gist
flat dreams is an amazing gravity falls fic all about bill ciphers backstory, based off of flatland
spoilers for fd (obviously)
in fd bill has a brother named liam who he genuinely cares for
so liam proceeds to literally die (cuz he’s an irregular which the law doesn’t like)
too lazy to go into detail, but he is granted a wish and gains godlike powers
then later on when bill is liberating his home dimension someone mentions that he could’ve used the wish to bring back liam
bill decides to go look at an alternate timeline where he did use the wish to bring back liam
liam is rightfully pissed at bill for, yknow, killing tons of people and stuff so bill proceeds to blast liam to bits before realizing what he’s done
back in our timeline, bill is so shaken up by seeing this that he chooses to erase all his memories about liam
anyways ye that’s all the context you need, make ur own theories or whatever cuz I’m too lazy to make one rn
got motivated to animate again, gonna work on a new thingy ig
