    Hi, nice one. Can you plz guide in following scenario, if there is one deposit in bank say for £100 made up of 20 individual invoices which were marked as paid and put to undeposited funds. How to clear this amount from undeposited funds. I think automatic matching under remove method will not work.

      Hi. Look for my tutorials on how to work with Undeposited Funds. You'll find those very helpful.

    When check transaction information is downloaded in the bank feed, the transaction is matched to the manually created check. You should select the manually created check over the bank feed downloaded transaction information. How do you select the manually created check over the bank feed transaction information?

      If you already entered a check manually in QBO, you would want to match the downloaded bank feed transaction in QBO to the manually entered check.

    So, every transaction should have "match" ? most time we just "add"
    Invoice can match with deposit.
    If i brought something can match with receipts.(sometimes no receipts)
    When owners take money out, match with what? And we recorded like transfer.
    Thank you

      I don't think I said that every transaction should have a match. It depends on the type of transaction and whether it is already added in QBO. You may want to refer to my tutorial videos where I talk more about working with bank feeds in QBO.

    What would you categorize overdraft fees and other bank fees under when matching the bank feeds?

    • @joannajimenez8848

      Also, how does a deposit get matched from the bank feeds in QBO?

    • @5MinuteBookkeeping
      @5MinuteBookkeeping  Před 2 lety

      I would put them to bank fees.

      In order to match a customer payment: 1) You would have to enter a customer payment to Undeposited Funds and then enter a deposit. Then you would match it in the bank feeds. Or, 2) you would enter a customer payment directly to the bank account and match it in the bank feed. Or 3) you would enter a sales receipt directly to the bank account and match it in the bank feed.

    Nice video but now you need to show how to correct the invoice that had the wrong match selected to another vendor. 🤔 how do you un-match and correct?
