How's it a mundan if the baby isn't bald? Not a hate comment, im genuinely curious as in our family mundan is equivalent to shaving all hair off
Mundan is cutting your hair - complete shave or cut a little bit, it's all fine.

In certain religions shaving completely is considered as a bad omen. So even for my kid we cut his hair the first time but it was called mundan
@@vidhimanek oh but amongst Brahmins and kshatriyas, it's auspicious to cut after the 1 year mark. Nonetheless, great to know it's not mandatory to shave.
