- This is strongly inspired in Legion Style music from DBD and also I used a lot the remix of Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics called "Sweet Dreams Are Made of Screams" for making this pieces. Hope you found them enjoyable.

Here's my chapter idea (Keep in mind, I at least tried but I'm not a developer)
The Smile: A sadistic killer.
Power: Go to Sleep- His past torment and struggles have been brought back by the Entity in the form of Jeff's disposal. The Smile is able to feed off of the fear of his victims. The Smile comes with a Fear Meter that consists of three bars. Chasing survivors causes the fear meter to progressively fill up, hitting survivors considerably increases the fear meter. You can use the fear meter to the following abilities and with the required amount of bars:
Berserk: Consumes one bar, The Smile is momentarily slowed down, he stabs wildly at anything near him. Any survivor close to him in all directions will be damaged while berserk is active
Burn it All: Consumes 2 bars, The Smile stomps on the ground, every generator in the trial ignites in flames for 3 seconds, any survivor repairing a gen is ignited, causing their vision to be smoky. The survivor must do the extinguish action to take the fire out or they will lose a health state and suffer the hindered status effect until healed.
Rage: Consumes all bars, The Smile laughs manically as fire and rage consumes him. During Rage, The Smile moves at 108ms, he has a considerably reduced missed weapon cooldowns. Bloodlust is replaced with exposing the survivor you're chasing. Picking up a downed survivor will instead have them drowned in flames and teleport on the nearest hook to you. Being stunned causes a huge flaming explosion which ignites any survivor near you. Hitting a healthy survivor will ignite them
Perks: Burnout- Your hate for everyone else fuels you. When a survivor is unhooked , if the rescuer is in your terror radius interacts with a generator, totem, exit gate, or locker in 10 seconds they will suffer from the hindered and exposed status effect for 8/10/12 seconds
Twisted Minded- You have a morbid way of dealing with enemies. Every time a survivor heals or is near another survivor for 15 seconds, gain a token. The more tokens you have the slower the survivors walking and crouching speed is and scratch marks last 1/2/3 seconds longer for every token you get. You lose all tokens when you hook a survivor
Hex Death for all: You give no empathy or care in anyone except for the desire to kill. When two generators are fixed within 20/25/30 seconds of each other, all generators are blocked for 40 seconds and all survivors' auras are revealed for 8 seconds. The survivors that repaired the generator are exposed for 20 seconds
I can genuinely see that being in the game, I'd love it. I'd play him 24/7.
I love that hex perk idea it gives a counter to gen rushing and giving map pressure but it can be easily countered so its balanced
I don’t like the killer but I love the hex: death for all, Feels like a amazing way to counter gen rushers
Burnout should be a permanent affect (as in no time limit to activate it), last longer, and tell you where they are. Something like "If the rescuer is in your terror radius, the next time they interact with a generator, totem, exit gate, or locker, they will create a loud noise notification, and suffer from hindered and exposed for 16/18/20 seconds.
Twisted minded, I say go for -10% crouching speed per token up to 5 tokens, and -6% walking speed up to 5 tokens, 15s longer scratch marks on top of that sounds good.
Hex: death for all is perfect. Maybe make the time the survivors are revealed scale with level too, like "8-9-10", but otherwise that could be added today and be perfect.

Going to be completely honest, ideally, if Jeff were to be in the game at any point, it should be as a legendary skin for the Legion in a Slenderman or Channel Zero chapter. I just don't think the story is good enough and the characters is incredibly similar to The Legion.
Regardless, the music is amazing.
Im sure behavior would come up with a similar power like they did with Bubba Sawyer compared to Hillbilly.

I feel it. Im down for cosmetic ideas, its harmless enough, but actually making these characters playable just doesnt seem like it would work. looking back a lot of those old creppypasta antagonists were just "Angry boy/girl with knife," and as you said, we already have the legion. Behavior would REALLY have to scrape with to try and work Jeff into the game
@Horny the Clown it’s been a while since I’ve read the Jeff the Killer stories, so explain to me why he wouldn’t work as a Legion cosmetic.
@Horny the Clown the power scheme makes more sense for Jeff than for the Legion in the first place. So I’d like it if you would answer my actual question instead of deflecting back to you wishing he’d get his own Killer Slot again.

Going of the original story, I'd guess it would charge his power by being harmed, so blinds and stuns. When full, he can activate it for a short time and sprint like Legion, vaulting, and successful attacks insta-down or (kill with addons.)

@Psyche the power would charge from objective completion (generators finished), stuns, blinds, hooks, and unhooks. As to allow him to get his power normal,y and overly abusive survivors accelerate it.
Also, the power would have tiers, T1 is base killer, T2 5% faster, and 50% faster recovery from all stuns. T3 is *E D G E M O D E,* no terror radius, 50% increased vault speed. All survivors are exposed for 60 seconds.
T4 if someone is able to hit T3 6 times, he's are allowed to tackle and mori survivors. For reference, Michal can EW3 7 times maximum at base.

I remember myself as a kid, reading the story about Jeff, so many time passed, and people still love it.
Jeff being a young killer, his speed, stature and agility would be a death sentence to most survivors.
Killers also have an incridible tolerance for pain and almost infinite adrenaline.
It's no wonder they almost never dies.

I suppose I'll be the one to post possible perks. He gets stronger as he is hurt by survivors, and revels in the pain he can give back to them.
Delightful Revenge: Channel power from pain. After being blinded ot stunned, the survivor who did it becomes exposed for 20/30/40 seconds. Whenever a survivor is exposed by any means, gain 5% Movement speed until the exposed effect ends.
Deadly Equillibrium: You bargained with the Entity for better odds of winning, and the Entity listened. At the start of the match, destroy 2/3/4 random standing pallets on the map.
Hex: Paranoia
Survivors are Oblivious. If there are more than 2 survivivors less than 6/8/10 meters away from each other, their aura is revealed to the killer and all their action speeds are reduced by 15%. These effects persist as long as the hex totem stays up.
Delightful revenge sounds like a decent perk. The other two are eh, but that’s accurate to behavior these days XD.
Fun but not OP. But Deadly Equillibrium can be great as well. Imagine losing the godpallet and 3 other good pallets at the start of the match. M1 killers would adore this perk I think. And Hex: Paranoia is just several perks meshed into one another, but permanent aura reveal and oblivious status is not as weak as it seems.

You instill great fear into your enemies with your pretty smile.
Ability: Happy Thoughts
Survivors start with a "Terror" meter. Hold M2 to start giggling and laughing to instill Terror into the survivors core beings. Only survivors that are in range equal to your Terror Radius are affected by Happy Thoughts. If a Survivor leaves the area affected by Happy Thoughts, Killer Instinct activates for 2.5 seconds. If the Terror meter of a Survivor is full, they scream, become Exposed for 60 seconds and reveal their aura to you for 6 seconds. The meter is then reduced back to 15%. After 20 seconds of not experiencing Terror, the meter slowly starts to decrease. While using Happy Thoughts, you are granted the Undetectable status effect.
Special Ability: I Only Want to Play!
This ability's meter is filled by fully filling the Survivors' Terror meter. When the ability is activated, The Smile screams a blood curdling scream and starts laughing maniacally. All Survivors that were in the Terror Radius when I Only Want to Play! was activated scream, and all Surivors become Exposed for 90 seconds. When I Only Want to Play! is activated, your Terror Radius is increased by 12 meters.
Perks:
Burning Memories - The burden of your past still haunts you, but your passion's flame doesn't die out.
When hitting a Survivor, gain a token.
Each token gained increases lunge speed by 3/4/5%. You lose 4/3/2 tokens whenever you hook a Survivor. You can hold a maximum of 6 tokens.
There is No Escape - When all generators are powered, this perk activates for 90 seconds. When the first Survivor begins to open the exit gate, they scream revealing their location and are afflicted by the Exposed status effect for 30/40/50 seconds. The perk is then deactivated.
Hex: Burning Joy - Whenever a Survivor gets downed, gain a token. Each token increases your Terror Radius by 1/2/3 meters. You can hold a maximum of 4 tokens.
Iridescent add-ons:
Burnt Bandages -Considerably increases time required to fill the Terror Meter.
Increases range Survivors' are affected in by 10 meters
Mom's Tear - Tremendously increases I Only Want to Play! meter requirement
Tremendously increases Survivors' Exposed status effect timer after activating I Only Want to Play!
Ad in some sort of superspeed and you have the perfect power for jeff
The chase theme sounds more like end of the world music and it intensifies as the end nears.
As much as I love the idea of Jeff becoming a dbd character and imagining how scary it would be to survive him and his unique perks and abilities in a game, I feel like the closest we would get is a Legion skin or something. I honestly wouldn't complain if that happened, quite frankly I wish it would.
Also, if he did become a character in dbd I'm intrigued to see what survivor would be paired alongside him or if he'd be like Ghost Face on his own.
Liu might be a fun survivor. Maybe his story is that after dying or nearly surviving his brother the fog would consume him. Jeff likely would’ve been consumed by the fog after “slipping away into the night”

This is great. While I can see Jeff being a legendary skin for The Legion, it would be cool to see how BHVR use Jeff. Not really a well written story, but the devs can hopefully make their own Jeff lore. As for some menu/chase music requests, it would be nice to see one for Alex Kralie, aka “The Director” from Marble Hornets (Tim Wright as survivor, and the Abandoned Hospital as the map), and a concept for Servant Grunt, aka “The Gatherer” from Amnesia. (Daniel as the survivor, and the Brennenburg Castle as the map)
Funny thing about Jeff lore there was a writing contest to see who could reboot him best so If they were going to add Jeff I would imagine they used the reboot story
Jeff already has the terrifying look, all they need is a terrifying story and he’d be perfect in dbd
I recommend the story of Jeff the Killer from David Near. DbD could get inspired by him.

I’ve been wanting Jeff in the game for so long. I’ve even made my Legion look as close to Jeff as possible. Having a chapter or skin of Jeff in this game would be a dream come true, honestly.
What skins did you use?
@@hudman0590 I pretty sure I used that uncommon rarity jacket that had a white and red color pallet, and the prestige 3 mask. The weapon is interchangeable and doesn’t matter too much. Haven’t played a lot, recently, so I kinda forgot all of it.

This fills me with so much nostalgia, making me reminisce the days of listening to Mr. Creepypasta’s narrations of these stories. I doubt we will ever see Jeff in DBB, but it shouldn’t distract from the fact that this is an absolute masterpiece. brilliant work :)
I have a feeling that Jeff could be more of a hybrid of Ghost Face and Legion in terms of mechanics, a mix of stealth and frenzied rushdown assaults

I think his power should be something relating to stalking and then a rush attack. Maybe depending on how long you stalk a survivor you can gain a burst of speed or something.
I think the most likely way to insert this character is making him a legendary set for legion

the thing that really makes Behaviour's themes and yours so different is that the ones you make could really make someone shit their pants, they have that particular rythm, so precise, that digs into the player's courage and breaks it, while BHVR's are good, but a lot of theirs sound like a bunch of instruments being played with no timing completely at random, like the Blight's

The Smile: a relentless killer, able to turn situations to his favor through brute force through the use of their power:
Hunter’s Bloodlust. Their perks, Shadow Killer, Instability, and Sweet Dreams allow him to gain an early advantage.
In order to use his power, he must first find a survivor and initiate a chase. The longer he chases, the more his power grows until it can be unleashed. When activated, he will run at legion speed, and all survivors will be exposed during it’s duration. When he downs a person, the Killer Instincts of all survivors are revealed, but the timer will go down at a faster rate. The base timer lasts 60 seconds, improved with addons.
Shadow killer allows the killer to turn a situation around at their lowest moment. When a killer is unable to use their power, their Terror Radius will be decreased by 8/16/24 meters.
Instability creates panic amongst survivors by creating an 8/16/24 terror radius around all injured survivors.
Sweet Dreams takes advantage of a survivor’s hope and tears it down. Those who finish a generator are given the oblivious and exposed status effects for 30/40/60 seconds. The survivor(s) who complete the last gen are moriable.
Good luck trying to survive this killer in the fog.
P.S. I did make a second comment, but thinking of a killer concept for him was tricky. The music inspired me though, at least with the perk Instability.
Creepy pasta music, Sweet dream are made of this and another song. It sounds like to me. Amazing
Also if you want a good suggestion for another Creepypasta themed DBD Lobby/Chase music, Laughing Jack would be a good one. His regular theme song is a creepy version of Pop Goes The Weasel, and I'm betting you could fit that in for the Lobby music and an increasingly intense version for the Chase music. There are other suggestions I got in mind but, I won't list them all unless you want me to haha.

I just came here for Sweet Dreams, and I'm not disappointed. HELL YEAH.
Also I love the part where it almost goes silent and you can only hear the sweet but creepy melody on the piano, and then the low, dark sound of drums summons, then the guitar and it turns out to be a really tense metal instrumental. Literally the best part. (1:39 - 2:02)
To be completely honest, a jeff the killer legendary skin for legion would be really cool

If Jeff the Killer ever became a dead by daylight character. I would hope he would have a costume that references the MBK audio dramas. I know it's a little niche but those audio dramas were really good and always portrayed Jeff as a menacing undead serial killer and not some pretty anime boy.
