When I was a kid, I was excited about the Inspector Gadget toys when it came to McDonald’s back in 1999, but now I have all 8 of them. I got them at a retro toy store near me instead of ordering them online.
If i remember correctly, the green light on the leg would actually cast an image on the wall in the dark. I had the leg, grabby hand, and chest piece as a kid. Never could get the full set tho

Crazy, everyone in my class had the left arm - we stopped by Mc Donalds during a class trip and that was the toy of the week. I'm pretty sure I had the wrist watch, and while it could fit my wrist the plastic band was so stiff it was painful to get on and off. And of course there was that one kid who had the whole thing because their parents took them out to eat way too often. I kinda still want a complete one for no reason in particular, funny because I AM NOW AN ADULT that's a possibility.
Fun to see these again! I got the first of these toys and played the "NEW" Sega Dreamcast at a local Hollywood Video. A very fun week indeed! I still have all 8 fully assembled on my shelf! But I think he missed his #4. The two function leg, it's a screwdriver/pliers. But still a great nostalgic video! I enjoyed it. :)
I remember as a kid I would come here every week or everyday I can just to collect the whole toy. I finally got all his parts but lost him over the years
I desperately wanted this in its entirety when I was a kid. I had like 5+ arms and freakin legs, the hat, and 3+ watches. Never got it. What a wasted childhood. Lmao

So glad u made this video. My friend was cleaning up a abandoned property the other day and found gadget just laying in dirt I cleaned it up and now it's displayed in my room and he's only missing his belt which is y I'm here lol
After my family went to many McDonalds and completed the figure, my mom accidentaly ran over the figure with her car because my younger brother was carrying it and dropped it just as she was entering the garage! Surprisingly the figure was ok, they dont make em like the used to heheh. I feel old... :/

I remember this so fondly! ^_^ The Inspector Gadget movie was one of my favorite movies when I was a kid, and I loved going to McDonald's to collect the parts to complete Gadget! And I did! But you forgot to mention Gadget's left leg: that Swiss Army knife-type toy. lol.
