Robson Green. can do anything, he can do comedy, romantic lead, drama, he can be a soldier, a doctor, a janitor, van driver..He does everything and he does everything brilliantly. I HAVE LOVED HIM FOR DECADES, HE GETS BETTER WITH AGE. You will also see a lot of the same actors in his shows, actors want to work with him and love him .. I know I do.
This is just lovely! The fact that Caroline Goodall and Robson Green would NOT have been cast together as a romantic couple - she's taller, she's older, etc. - lends such a wonderfully true romantic sheen to a story of two people who are NOT meant to be together romantically (he's a reporter, she's the Prime Minister). They're just such a GREAT couple together- that I wish they could star together in a TV series. I'd love to see these two actors every week! :)))

Oh, they really look wonderful together - and the direction is superb. I really want Green and Goodall to be together again in something - one of the many things that makes this work so well between these really good, intelligent, good looking and charming actors - is that their bond seems more real due to the factors that are not "designed" - she's taller, older, has a look of conscientious indoor studious living - and he looks more free and easy, humorous, less full of responsibility - and yet they really bond. Just great!

I also have the complete set of "Wire in the Blood", "Touching Evil", "Grafters", "Christmas/Northern/City Lights", "The Student Prince", "The Last Musketeer", "Take Me" (LOUSY), and "Like Father, Like Son". (Besides "Me & Mrs. Jones") There's still quite a few that I'm missing. My favorites, so far, are WIB, Reckless, and The Gambling Man. (Sylvestra Le Touzel, as Charlotte Kean, was outstanding)

"The Student Prince" was just so-so, and a bit far-fetched, but definitely better than "Take Me".

I was going through my tv guide looking for something to watch and I came across a station that featured Robson Green and Extreme Fishing and a couple of other Fishing shows with him. What a surprise.

As far as I can tell, it's only been released on TV in the U.S. (WGBH Boston) and in Australia. I have no clue why it wasn't released in the UK.

Nope, not 16:9, I guess it's full screen, but there are bands across the top & bottom in Amazon Instant Video. No HD indicator, so far.
