Are there really perfect people , most people have some of these traits , at one time or the other , addictive people , may come off psychopaths , their driven by addiction , school teacher's exhibit a lot of these traits , and so do people in positions of power , our Political System seems to have a lot of people that meet these criteria.

It seems you have to have a degree in psychology not to have any of these traits , that means there are no psychologists that are psychopaths , you couldn't become a psychopath if your a psychologist , l don't think this is the truth, people are imperfect !

The pre frontal cortex. Do you know how the damage was done to it, or are they born this way? Or, could they have been raised or groomed into this behavior during their upbringing? Could this behavior be due to being exposed at a young age? This is extremely informative for me right now. I’m sharing to a specific group. I would appreciate any feedback from you. Or, should I do more research on my own?

From my experience is that if you become aware of a psychopath within your group, the psychopath will force you out of the group, ensuring his position within that group of people and keeping his name clean. Most people within that group won't notice or don't want to get involved, and let the psychopath do it's thing. The person that became aware is kept out of the group forever.

The battle is tough I am pretty sure, I tend to have impaired feelings due to my depression and OCD burnouts and in a way I can sometimes feel like a psychopath and it's absolutely devastating feeling when you just don't care and feel nothing, especially if you had relatively normal emotional life in the past, you feel like you've lost it, it drives me crazy, starting to spiral in thoughts that I could be evil. I whish for all people with this infamous personality disorder the best and especially to the people like yourself who find that amazing strength to push forward through the very difficult lenses of your nature. Keep on going and never let it go!

In the general population of psychopaths in a given population equates to .75%-1%. In the prison population the psychopathic prisoners make up about fifteen percent.
Population of the United States-318.9 million or, 31,890,000 psychopaths
      General population in US
      318.9 million x 0.0075 = 2,391,750
318.9 million x 0.01 = 3,189,000 (in this case just move the decimal point two space to the left)
      Prison population
. For comparison against general population of the same size, the numbers would be:
      2,220,300 x .15 = 333,045
      333,045/3,190,000=10 percent
      333,045/2,399,250= about thirteen percent

#1 mysterious phenomena of such personality is that even though victims are able to recognize a person with such traits, they still choose to get victimized by such personalities. There have been so many psychological case studies and people stated that they knowingly got victimized and don’t understand the reasons. A great book “Talking to Strangers” may shed more light. Another interesting capability of People with these traits is they somehow have ridiculously High IQs. Unfortunately this is so true. Great Video!

All those descriptions of a psychopath is my older brother! As a kid/teen he always bullied me and my younger brother. Then he'd act like the victim so my parents didn't blame him and blamed us. He'd always prance around claiming he's God's gift to the world and that he was better than us all. When he'd meet women, he'd behave super nice and respectful just long enough to have girlfriends marry him. Once he'd fool a young woman to marry him, he'd become physically and mentally abusive towards them. Claiming a marriage license gives him permission to OWN the woman, control her, abuse her and do what he wishes with her. He ruined two marriages he had. When he was around relatives with his girlfriend or wife, he'd refuse to let them meet me or speak to me because he wanted to make sure I didn't mention his dark secrets of his abusive, violent behaviors to them. My younger brother followed in my older brother's footsteps also. I cut my older brother out my life in 1993 and my younger brother out my life in 2004. Just want to clarify: psychopaths DO NOT feel “happiness”. They feel a type of narcissistic satisfaction, but never real happiness because they are incapable of true joy, a key component even in superficial happiness. But also, they DO feel FEAR and tend to be cowards. They are only able to feel fear, hate, rage, and sadistic pleasure. Also in the first point, it is extremely important to note that most higher intelligence psychopaths are Jekyll and Hydes. They may appear very moral and lawful outwardly, like a judge, cop, clergy person, teacher, politician, social justice advocate, corporate officer, conscientious parent, etc..., but away from public vision, they are the complete opposite and very evil. Also the impulsive aspect is only for certain types of psychopaths, as there are numerous types, (organized, disorganized, etc...) some are very calculating and pre-meditative. They are ALL killers of some sort. Some will derive pleasure from trying to kill someone emotionally, or relationally, while others will seek to destroy you financially. Some of them will lurk in the shadows to slander and destroy your reputation and chances of success and happiness, whereas others will want to kill a victim physically. But KILLING is their greatest delight, perhaps their only delight beyond being praised and exalted above others. I should say they relish with much saliva, the ability to deceive and trick others. They ALL like this, as they ALL also are emotionally limited, negative emotions only (explained in this video). They may profess to love you, but if they are a psychopath, they are incapable of loving anyone, they can only imitate it, and that they are very good at. They also ALL never accept blame, guilt, or responsibility for any actions taken or even inaction. They will ALWAYS deflect and transfer blame, culpability, and accountability. Some are more duplicitous than others, as some are unable to keep up the “wolf in sheep’s clothing” masquerade for too long. Whereas, others can do it for life and never be exposed.

A psychopath doesn't take pleasure in killing you. There are other forms of satisfaction. It is similar embodiment of the autistic disorder, which limits the satisfaction inside your head, makes you an inside loner.
The difference is autistic disorder is taking pleasure in interacting with oneself, while psycho interacts with others.
It's true most psychos are killers, but not everybody kills, emotionally, mentally, physically. Again, there are other forms of satisfaction. Killing just comes easier for a psycho than a normal person, and it is the last resort. I mean, he might choose to kill if needed, but certainly it's not so retarded to choose this option from the beginning.

Diagnosed psycho here, just the type of person who clicked this video for research and etc. The term "psychopath" is used to describe someone who is callous, unemotional, and morally depraved. Although not an official mental health diagnosis, it is often used in clinical and legal settings to refer to someone who often is egocentric, antisocial, lacking remorse and empathy for others, and often has criminal tendencies.
For me it is indeed some form of manipulating and lack of empathy for others, naturally my illness was a genetic thing and was passed down to me, i couldn't tell if i was truly unlucky or not. For me living with this felt like chaos rising and falling for the 18 years I've lived. Over time i noticed that i was never able to normally understand basic human emotions and actions. It was only till the emotional supporters I had passed away the condition gotten worse and was left untreated and from what i can remember is that i was never the best child, some even considered me toxic and violent. Basically what I'm saying is that the first top 5 are true about me. I just wish to live a better lifestyle then what it was 10 years ago.

If it helps, I've done a lot of research on psychopathy and autism because my son has both and I really think psychopathy IS autism. You need to learn to express yourself, you need someone to guide you to know what you're feeling inside, you need to accept people who want to help you. Perhaps your emotions weren't validated when you were a child? Many psychopaths/sociopaths think we want to control them when we try to help them, but that's not what we want, we just want to show you something different, something outside your box. Autistic people are rigid. it's hard to open your mind to something else than what you think but it is not your fault.
James Fallone discovered that his brain and that of many prisoners were identical... he concluded that he must be a psychopath, but he never thought it could be the other way around... he's autistic and so are all psychopaths.

To add the cherry on top is that yes most of my problems comes from trauma and that PTSD caused me to hallucinate sometimes or feel like theirs bugs or a hand crawling on me. @@Cass_772 I must disagree with you on psychopathy is autism. I have autism, and while i lacked emotional connections due to childhood influences, i never completely lacked empathy, especially regarding animals. I think it would be safer to say each case is different, different contributing factors and triggers, and while childhood does play a role in the brain's development, so to does early adolescent life. This could be noted especially in cases of autism where social development is often behind the peer age group and that our brains perceive the world differently to neurotypical brains. Been there, lived it, but still managed to stay connected. There are some traits of autism that overlap with other psychological conditions, including narcissism, sociopathy etc... this is why diagnosis from a professional is really important.
Multiple people, figures, identities - these can be attributed to Borderline PD, Schizophrenia, DID, and even indicators of emotional abuse. Some medications can cause these brain anomalies too! Stress can cause autistic splits in personality and meltdowns. There are many things to consider that might be the cause, not just psychopathy. But autism is not the same. Borderline and DID especially create feelings of disassociation which can actually lead to feeling like "multiple people" in one.

@KyuubiNoAstralokk I am autistic too and I am not saying that every autistic person is psychopaths, what I say is psychopathy is a neurodevelopmental condition and I think that it comes from autism, since autism IS a neurodevelopmental condition. Some autistic will be naive, others will be psychopaths. In Hans Asperger's study, he called autism... infantile psychopathic autism...
I studied this condition for 23 years and I crossed the paths of many machiavelic or psychopathic people and they are all autistic, this can't be a coincidence.
The fact is that, in adulthood, autistic traits tend to disappear in psychopathic people, to be replaced by psychopathy or schizophrenia, so they are not diagnosed correctly as autistic. What's more, schizophrenia has its roots in autism.
Psychology/psychiatry has really only been around for 100 years, which isn't very long so we can't assume that we know everything in this field. We're still in the embryonic stage, there's still a lot to learn.

My sister's been actively at my destruction for over 35 years, and my niece was at it for about 15. It was especially lovely when they joined forces to destroy me.
At least my niece had limited reach and has essentially moved on.
      My sister will never stop.
She has only 2 family members fooled, but they are important family members to me, and she takes every opportunity to play victim with me the bad guy.

What I hate about psychopath are when seeing them for what they are, they have most ppl. fooled and others don’t believe you. For the most part I’m hard on ppl. and I usually see many that are psychopaths, but others eat it up and the psychopaths know I see through them and ends up targeting me for it.
I think they see most to be unaware or dumb and why they do what they do bc they can. I think there are more psychopaths than what this video claim and not all are in jail. I’ve met so many psychopaths in my life and I think I see it quickly bc I think they think they have me fooled and I don’t notice. Or maybe I’m also a psychopath and know the game, but I’m not practicing or something made me change but keep those psychopathic skills to protect myself. Not sure if I’m making sense but revenge is a big one for me, but I’ve learn to let it go, but it’s very tempting.

If you want my advice theres nothing you can do and just protect yourself and stay away from the people you think are psychos

He was so unhinged and had so many background issues. if i saw him today i’d be scared he would potentially kill me honestly, there’s been a few times where he’s scared me into thinking he would. i’m almost sure he will go to jail for some horrific act. i haven’t talked to him in 2 years tho and i plan to avoid him at all costs. but anyways. be careful out there y’all! you never know, they can be ur sophomore year classmate.

You were mostly spot on with only two minor exceptions. The assumption about the majority of psychopaths being incarcerated due to their inability to follow rules. I will argue that the majority of psychopaths, being as high functioning as they are, can be found in positions of influence, often times they are the legislators themselves. The other blurred fact is mistaking rules for morals, which I'll refrain from getting into because it's an obviously cliche argument & deviates from the main topic.

Rings some bells for sure. I had a friend once who was a psychopath.
The worst part about such individuals /methinks is that they demolish the trust in humanity.
Someone falling for a psychopath's fake kind and wholesome behavior (operative being *fake* ), and then falling prey to toxicity, will reject a genuine nice person met later in life, who might've benefited both the ex-victim and the new person.
On a microscopic level, in relation to all of humanity, that is destruction of bonds between people, destruction of society.
Also, the final statement of the video expresses hope that it may have helped one identify themselves as a psychopath. Sorry, but is that even possible? The friend I mentioned in the 2nd sentence once told me, that to be a skilled manipulator one has to convincingly manipulate themselves first.

As a fellow empath who has experienced the displeasure of residing with psychopaths, I can't emphasize the importance of evaluating a potential paramour with utmost detail and neutral caution when reaching a decision upon whether to devote yourself to someone. These individuals truly mask their innermost characteristics with such skill in order to deceive you, whilst focusing upon their sinister ulterior motives. If you sense that any malevolent activity may ensue, never resist the opportunity to perform a formal investigation to secure your safety.
Don't become one of their victims as I almost did, and ensure that you enforce you research, both legally, intellectually and virtuously.

When I was a kid, I grew up going to church (I’m no longer religious) and we got a new preacher. He was a younger guy, very lively and charismatic individual. Always full of energy and constantly smiling at people, just an abundance of energy. I always enjoyed getting to hang out and play sports with him. As I got older and became a teenager, we became closer friends, even though there was a little bit of an age gap. I slowly but surely started picking up on certain patterns I recognized in him. He always wanted to be praised and the center of attention. If we were ever around someone that didn’t look up to him, it’s like he seemed very uninterested and had an immediate negative opinion of that person. I started having mixed feelings about our friendship. I just always felt nervous in his presence, like I needed to act a certain way and needed to impress him, I can’t even explain it. I started seeing how he interacted with people but then he was a COMPLETELY different person when nobody was around. Don’t get me wrong, we all do a ‘fake laugh’ out of courtesy here n there, but it was disturbing how he would switch from great loving and caring person to just zero interest in anyone else’s welfare once we were alone. He always always ALWAYS had to be right and win any kind of argument/debate. If you called him out on something and he was stuck in a corner or caught in a lie, he would aggressively ramble nonstop in defense for 2-3 hours straight (I am not exaggerating!). One time, he made a fake Facebook page and started messaging me as if it was a messenger from ‘God’. I found a note in my car and it was a ‘letter from god’. It was all in his handwriting of course…. When I finally brought it up to him, he denied it all and said maybe someone was trying to set him up. A couple years later, he befriended another guy my age, and the exact same story happened to him! He received a ‘letter from god’ as well. I feel like I could literally talk about different stories for hours. I was young and naive but now that I’m older, I have no doubt he was a psychopath. We all have our pros and cons as humans but I’ve never know anyone like this person. I cut off all communication a few years ago and always wondered if he would MAYBE apologize to me, but I don’t think he’s capable of that. My one bit of advice, always be weary of people that seem to be too good to be true right away. There are good people out there, but the ones who love to be seen and praised are the ones you gotta look out for. I haven’t talked to this individual in years but there’s still some post traumatic stress I carry with me to this day I feel like because of him.

But I always thought psychopaths could mimic emotions they don’t feel and that’s something I can’t do. I understand the concept of the emotions, I just don’t have them and can’t mimic them. The part about lack of respect for the rule of law is because of their impulsive behaviour. That one person wasn't malicious it was more of like a naivety of their wrong doing. 1) As long as laws are on my side, I follow them, if on my way, just break them
    2) Charm and charisma, true, I always wear a mask in society that is why I get bored of people so quick, it is tiresome and go to my solidatry quickly,
    3) Pathological lying, yes, I always/mostly think that I am right and might lie for many reasons to reach my goal,
    4) Small range of motions, true, a) Happiness : Only material gains or illegal substances or excitimg sex are my source of happiness. The rest, I could care less. 2) Sadness, Fear and Anxiety : Nope, we interpret all above mentioned feelings as level of anger. You just feel anger. 3) Anger : All the time. Mostly you mask it in order not to cause any risk to your goals but when you cannot, it is just pure anger (me attacking 10 cops just for loosing it due to their injustice. You just get blinded by it)
    5) Lack Emphaty, Callous, true, I always think that pople are fakely being nice to others when they show empathy cause I just cannot even pathom how you can relate to another human's feelings. If we are close such as neighbours (I have no friends cause I dont believe in friendship but I briefly socialize with many if necessary with ease) and heard you lost a loved one all I know is that it is bad thing for the one and say I am sorry my condolences. That is it. No feeling at all. In fact I might find that crying pathetic and laughable but would never mention it of course. Same applies for physical pains. Callous, very true, it is either my way or the high way, I could careless who feels what in the process
    7) Impulsive, extremely true, I am extremely bored most of the time and risky criminal behaivours or spontaneous sex or illegal subtances put me immediately in a good mad. It is just like normal world is just too boring and you need to replace it with your fantasy world in order to be happy. I was fired from all Jobs I had and created my own law firm and become successful. Team work? You better beat me to a pulp!
    7) Bullying and Abusing, true, you do that even to your own family for whatever goal you are after. I do gaslighting mostly to manipulate a person who is not intelligent at all and in my circle to direct her to the correct way. For that, I do various shades of conv8ncing tactics from lighter ones to the hurshers, repeat if necessary cause they cannot learn quick and after it is true that guilt or remorse felt but anger towards that person for being not the brightest color in the shade.
Acting lile a victim over caught immoral actions, true, cause I strongly believe that I am more special and much superior from the majority of people. So, if I do something wrong, it is society's fault as they pushed me for that action and not my! True that I would deny everything I am accused of even if I caught red handed. Why would I make their job easier against my favor!
Blaming others, of course, that is a given.
Acting superior, I believe I am superior and naturally act that way!
Manipulation, as I said above, you keep wearing a mask which is tiresome. To me, humans are just viruses, insects.
Multiple partners, short relationships, very true, everybody and relationship lose its' exciting side very quickly and fade away. Therefore, staying in the same relationship feels like hell. I get bored too quick.
Revenge, the sweetest feeling. If I cannot take my revenge against a person who wronged me, It would bother me for decades and I would still look for ways to get even but I deliberately wait to gettings cooled down!

The few questions I have about psychopaths are :
    - what is the "objective" of a psychopath ? (why do they manipulate people, what are they looking for by doing this)
    - are they aware of how bad of a person they are, that what they do is morally bad etc. ?
    - what is the status of psychopathy (disease, mental illness, something you have in your genes, sth linked to a childhood trauma...) and can a psychopath recover from it / have a therapy or some medicaments that can help stopping their behavior
    - do you become a psychopath or are you one from birth ?

All you have to do is do not blame them for being bad, thats what they choose to be,with or without knowing it.Their brain has not normal parameters like a normal person. They may look normal at some point and their logic for doing bad things make excuses about them being right.Their interest is about them at first place or sometime they lack smth and try to fill it by taking care or sacrificing to much of themselfs 'for you' and in return they prison you to fullfill their wishes forever.I mean these people should be taken seriously , they will never show who they are ,they want you to play their game where they win and you loose. This is their engine.Where they want to go with this ?? Revenge is a way to get justice.
And when one meets more and more people who don't fall under their value systems they get more angry.

And keeping on top of my goals and plans gives me a sense of control of my life (even though I know life is generally chaotic and uncontrollable, I must do what I can do survive).
I don't know if there is anything WRONG with you... it might just be something that comes to you naturally and when you need it. To analyze my own manipulation, I usually read and interpret the people who I am meant to impress - understand who they are as a person, and what they will value in others, then replicate the behavior they will like. Sometimes my act is so convincing that even I am convinced it is the truth - and that is the scary part. Sometimes you can lose who you actually are in the act.
Nowadays I am too tired to play the social game so I just don't interact with people unless I have to. It's a tiring process, manipulation. Sometimes I wonder if I should go back to using charisma, but then I just feel bad when I do use it.
It might be something to do with your personality as well. For a reference, I am an INTJ, 5w6, 513.

Totally agree with #3, by midlife they have become professional manipulators. You will notice that things aren't quite right, they don't have the professional skills they should, they can't delagate tasks, they can't maintain relationships with suppliers, they have temper tantrums and they want to talk about personal matters and get chummy with you so you find them likeable.

Is it just me or do the labels of narcissist, sociopath and psychopath get quite blurry at times. To me the differences lie in the following markers. Pure narcs are not generally violent and have primarily social emotional supply strategies. Sociopaths have even more limited emotional range and therefore have very stark jumps between one end of their emotional spectrum and an other making their social situations far more precarious and their lives far more desperate. I feel sorry for sociopaths. And psychopaths are far more regulated internally, less spontaneous and feed their egos and emotions more indirectly. This is just off the top of my head and I would like to see a more insightful summary.

Interesting video, in mental health units you won’t really hear staff use the term “psychopath” very often though and more likely the term “a person with high a psychopathy score” which refers to a PCL-r score which is a clinical tool used to measure some of the traits you’ve talked about in the video. Often psychopaths are really keen to tell others that they are a psychopath and people sometimes think it’s counter-therapeutic for staff to refer to them as a psychopath. Also remember “traits” and “states” we all might sometimes have traits like the ones described but less likely to be within a permanent state of this.

Yeah most of the people in prison suffer from mental illness and learning disabilities. A high percentage suffer from drug and alchole addiction and were physically and sexually abused as children. Most criminals that show psychopathic traits are really confused with sociopatholodgy. Meaning that these criminals exibit learned behavior and defense mechanisms from there own abuse and traumas that they suffered from the hands of others. Others must be intoxicated and or motivated by addiction to commit there crimes. On the otherhand there are many more psychopaths that are highly intelligent people that enforce the law and or hold these criminals accountable for there crimes. 9 times outta 10 psycopaths are way to smart to get caught and get sent to prison alive. 9 times outta 10 its the cop with an itchy trigger finger or the prison guard that assaults and kills more people behind the facade of enforcing justice than any of the criminals that are in prison. My point is that psycopaths are everywhere they are just more easily unidentifiable once they have been busted for a crime

Well I work in prison in germany for mentally ill prisoners. The problem with the vidoe and with the comments is that people mix up simple assholes with a psychopath. The level of evilness is way higher then just some asshole you met in your life that manipulated you or lied, cheated or hurt you. You are also wrong by saying that high percentage of criminals were physically or sexually abused. A lot of them just simply love the lifestyle of not caring and taking what they want. Anyways they are just humans as you and I are and people often forget that. If you ask me every human is a psychopath if you give them the "right" reason in their minds to be one. For example if your child gets killed and tortured and you had the chance to do the same thing to the torturer without any consequences you would do it. The difference is just that the reasons "psyhopath" do what they do are often not really understandable for most people. But they are also just simple humans and every human on the planet has the potential to be a psychopath. So please stop acting like they are another species or some monsters that are walking around unidentified and doing damage. You want to see a psychopath? Then just get up and look in the mirror. Look deeply in your own eyes and you can see the darkness of your soul. Everyone has the potential to be a monster. You know you also have very dark thougths when you are angry on someone.
