Ambient Support has over three decades of experience, in delivering person centred, specialist care and support services for older people, people with a learning disability and people with mental health needs.
The Ambient Way is rooted in our Passion for People. We believe that everyone is unique and deserves to live a full and valued life in their community regardless of age or disability.
This passion for people extends to our incredible staff team, who are the beating heart of everything that we do.
Those that work for us embody our 5i values, and we want to ensure that they are happy, rewarded, respected and always feel appreciated.
Our values govern our approach and inform our interactions, so that the support we provide is positive, respectful and sensitive to people’s needs.
Our personalised approach means that our staff always work with each person as an individual first and foremost.
We use a combination of support approaches including positive behaviour support, active support, recovery and specialist dementia understanding tailored to each individuals needs and circumstance.
Health, wellbeing, personal goals, and aspirations are always incorporated into each personalised care plan. We draw upon the strengths of those we support, provide them with choice, look to mitigate risk and help them to develop as independent a life as they are able.
Ambient is passionate about quality and we are determined that all our services are the very best that they can be. That means involving those we support, not only in the recruitment of staff, but in quality assurance, and the ongoing development, and future direction of our charity and the services we deliver.
Ultimately, our mission is to ensure the people we support are safe, leading happy and fulfilling lives full of optimism and laughter, whilst enjoying doing the things they want and are able to do. The Ambient Way is how we work to make this happen.
