i expected blue waters to swim in everywhere and nje my mood went down.
So my 2c on travelling is too read all reviews on a place before booking, we went short on this one, we trusted the judgement of the travel agency. your hotel/Resort should be the best place for you and then day activities will be a cherry on top.
we stayed at a 4 star place(Azao) believe or not but one can see it hasn't been taken care of over the years.
but please go just stay away from the resort we stayed at

I went to Zanzibar Dec 2023, the best Vac thus far, when you travel there make sure to book 5star resorts, eg.. Riu Jambo, Riu palace, Baladin, focus on resort that are in the Northern part of the Island, the beach are awesome there. If you travel on a budget to Zanzibar you’ll have to lower your expectations, but if the budget is good, go all out, you will not regret it.
I hear you, budget wasn’t a factor as we booked with a 4star experience but it was 2 star.
I get what you’re saying but the country in its own was giving 2 star aside from our accommodation which was a fail.
Greta experience are possible if me doesn’t consider the entire countries experience. I’m glad you had fun.

and im not even a burger person that much, i was playing safe yho we had some of the worst food.
My friend was in Ghana last week. Hotels are beautiful. Those who want night club life,can enjoy it there. But I didnt like the food,jst by looking at the photos.
Roads around hotels are bad ,like in rural areas. Hotels are so beautiful but tge roads around not ayoba.,village roads ke sana. Nice vlog sis. Thank you maam.😊

Zanzibar will always be dear to me, my very first passport stamp and only trip I have taken out of SA so far and it was great.
I agree with you when you say your agent should direct you in the right way and doing research.
The place truly has a lot to offer especially when it come to excursions, our resort was 10min or so walk away from the rock restaurant and also had so much to offer, you would’nt really want to leave it sometimes because of the activities they offered, service etc

My next trip was Zanzibar but according to what I see on the vlog,I'm changing my mind. I dont like the food there😅. Burgers all the way,nothing look yummy😋.
Maybe I will go to Kenya or Botswana.
Next time!GO to Zanzibar but do you research and go to the places we see on Instagram and youtube. but look for places that are within your budget.
for us the Resort wasnt great, just like your friend the moment you drive out of the hotel roads are okay but uphuma ibezilali
I’ve been to Kenya…it’s amazing…go to Diani, Malindi and Watamu…you won’t regret it ❤
