- ANC first deputy secretary-general Nomvula Mokonyane has welcomed the
announcement of Gauteng leadership by Premier Panyaza Lesufi.
Mokonyane has also thanked all the parties that threw their weight
behind the government of provincial unity after all parties failed to
reach the outright majority in the May 29 elections.

You forget that the DA is not needed to pass the budget. The majority of Gauteng Legislature supports Lesufi's premiership, so it shouldn't be hard to pass the budget without the DA vote, and I think they(the DA) need to be very careful if they still want to retain their Deputy Speaker position. The ANC is working with everyone in the provincial legislature.

With due respect, i hope not even a single person from any other political party is going to feel offended because that is only the truth. When i/we mentioned that the ANC, party should not allow the DA party to dictate the shots in this GNU, it was because the ANC party, sounded as if their thoughts were based more on sympathy or UBUNTU, as in some cases the word, "UBUNTU should not definitely be considered, to be used or remembered, because it doesn't make any sense. As it looks like the DA party wanted to take control in this GNU, by demanding big shares in all the main responsible public services, while the ANC party was happy to dance to the DA party's music. I am happy to hear in this video when Mrs Mokonyane, mentioning that we have been in prisons, hanged, some even buried for this revolution, which is what we were trying to remind people, as we mentioned that several times, even if not in those exact words. While we mentioned that the DA party, should have been greatfull to have even included in the GNU, because, during the apartheid, we were never even included in the laws decision making, as they were just expected us to do absolutely whatever they tell us to do while they were happy because we abided by those laws. Some of the events need to be said, because it just not only a theory, but only facts, as that was what happened during apartheid. At times, the word UBUNTU should not be included in some serious conversations like this. Therefore the DA party, should always remember that, we are still like wounded dogs, because apartheid era treatments are not going to be forgotten by many people who were under the umbrella of apartheid.
I honestly wish to congratulate MEC Faith Mazibuko in particular. She outdid herself during her tenure in that department under former Premier Makhura. Congratulations Mama- with her in that department's helm,I believe she will remedy this "hiccup situation" affecting Gauteng NPOs such as Carroll Shaw.
