Good 'ol Cartoon Network games, with some amateur gameplay shown here using Flashpoint Infinity 6.0.
Game Type: Shockwave
Game File Source: Unknown, since it was already curated and added to Flashpoint by others
Status in Flashpoint: Already in Flashpoint (as of version 6.1)
FAQs
Q1) What is Flashpoint?
A1) It is a webgame preservation project by BlueMaxima that aims to collect as many web browser games and animations as possible before they are lost forever due to the phasing out of programs such as Shockwave Player and eventually, Flash Player.
Q2) How can I help?
A2) There are several ways, the most common being:
a. Spread the word to get more people to help contribute to the project
b. Search and curate requested games by others, which if successful, will result in the game being added to Flashpoint.
c. Testing games which have/haven’t been added to Flashpoint and report any bugs/missing files
You can visit their Discord page via the link from bluemaxima.org/flashpoint/ if you have any questions. That website also contains other useful links, such as the Game Master List, which states the existing games in Flashpoint so far and upcoming ones.
The Game Request List states all the requested games others have put up so far. You can download the Flashpoint program itself as well if you just want to play the games too.
Game Master List: bluemaxima.org/flashpoint/data...
Game Request List: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
Flashpoint Download: bluemaxima.org/flashpoint/down...
Q3) What do you mean by “curate”?
A3) In short, it means you find a website that contains the game/animation and download the relevant files (e.g. dcr files for Shockwave games & swf files for Flash games). These will be opened with a Flashpoint program such as Flashpoint Core to test whether the game/animation works.
If they work, several files such as gameplay screenshots, text file containing the launch commands etc. are required to be placed into a ZIP file and uploaded to the relevant section of the Discord page, where they will be vetted by the experienced team there, and if successful, will be added to the newer Flashpoint version.
If you wish to help curate games, pls watch this video first in the link below, which will teach you how to curate the games you’ve found before submitting them for approval. Again, if you are still unsure, the folks at Discord will be able to help you!
Curation Guide: • Flashpoint Shockwave C...
Q4) According to the Game Master List, this game should be in Flashpoint but I can’t find it!
A4) If you’ve downloaded Flashpoint Infinity, take note that it doesn’t contain all the games in the Game Master List. For example, if the game you’re looking for is a Shockwave game: at the main screen of the program, you will see a section called “Upgrades”. Click the download button for “Other technologies”. For Flashpoint Infinity 6.1, it is about 900 MB. Once that is done, restart the program and the Shockwave games will appear.
Q5) I want to play this game, but it’s neither in Flashpoint nor the Game Master List!
A5) This means that game has not been added to Flashpoint yet. If there are games you want to be in Flashpoint, you can either wait for it to appear in later versions, or put up a request using the link in Q2. Note that to edit the Google Doc file, you need to request permission first.
Even if you have been granted editing privileges, pls check whether the game you want has already been requested before. Do not search by the specific name only. For example, if you are looking for the game “Scooby-Doo: Horror of the High Seas Episode 1 - The Ghost Pirate Attacks!”, try searching “Scooby Doo”, “Scooby-Doo”, “Ghost Pirate” etc.
This is because some game websites name them differently (e.g. Tom and Jerry: Food Fight is aka Tom and Jerry: Food Free-For-All). Curators who tested the games may also name them differently (e.g. the Scooby-Doo game mentioned above was named as “Scooby Doo Ghost Ship Episode One”).
Q6) Hey, this game isn’t from Cartoon Network!
A6) Yes, while some games weren’t originally from the Cartoon Network website (regional sites included), such as some Scooby-Doo games which originated from the Warner Bros website, the characters from their respective shows have aired in Cartoon Network before, and are therefore counted as such.
If you have more questions, do check out Flashpoint’s FAQ page: bluemaxima.org/flashpoint/faq/
My first survival horror game.
Same for me, I believe
Like me, I first played this in 2nd grade for hours while being scared out of my life.
It was always scary af when those anubis would come to life and chase u
@@mako3951 Those anubises are the horror of my gameplay, whenever they come to life and chase after you. Also, those blue spirits are another scary enemy.
My big brother taught me how to play halo when I was around 3 or 4. I didn’t understand the horror and blood much at that time though
Might look simple, but back in 2004 for an internet game, and for a 8 year old kid, this was a whole unique immersive intriguing experience
I played it in ‘06, maybe even ‘05. Didn’t scare me AT ALL.
I never won, it was super hard and I didn't understand it. Still fun and might try again in the future.
I love how Courage’s idle animations change the more panicked he gets. When he’s at his highest level of fear, his walking animation even changes.
Phenomenal attention to detail.
For a flash game, it's phenomenal!
The best survival horror platformer in the genre.
Also, the way Courage bounces into the air after getting scared only to come in contract with another thing that could scare him reminds me of getting combo'd in a fighting game.
I could never beat this game lol
But OTHER People Can!
@@vglendinning3996 like me.
Exactly
SAME!!
Lol awww I managed to pass it at some point!!! 😄💪🏼 It was one of my faves!! I was such a gamer when child, miss those years when CN had cool cartoons & games 😢
I played this game so much that the black background and yellow floor are forever etched into my mind. For one thing, I always wondered why he'd start each level by falling from the ceiling. I also used to wonder why there was a skeleton glitch at 0:39.
Scary. Makes it seem like a skeleton fell in the spike hole.
This glitch always scared the crap outta me when I was little.
I remember one time as a kid, I showed this game to a friend and she tried playing it, but then when a mummy came out of a door, she screamed. She didn't want to continue playing it because she found it too scary, and she was a fan of the show. XD
First time i've seen Eustace be happy to see Courage.
Idk if this is cursed or wholesome
@@kidsIIIII009 Eustace turned into a Stoner wth
This game truly scared the living shit and lights out of me and still horrifying to this present day, especially the Anubis and the blue ghost pharaoh head. I never finished the game though, but usually came close near the top of the pyramid and end up dying
i had my dad beat this game for me just to see what the end was. it's so much harder than it looks
That’s the first time Eustace seemed so happy to see Courage save the day
Usually he would be nothing but an complete asshole to courage
@@trewashington787 He's being incredibly dismissive and unappreciative, that's for sure.
@@dracko158 and ungrateful
@@trewashington787 True. Btw, unappreciative and ungrateful has the same meaning behind it lol
Eustace is a tsundere confirmed
So glad this hasn't been COPPA'd. I remember playing this game as a child, as well as the Ed, Edd, 'n Eddy "Infect-Ed" game, and Toonami's immortal classic "Trapped in Hyperspace." I was thinking of writing an episode based on this game (with the physical hologram body of the Computer as a major character.)
Probably because the United States brands this game as a horror game
@@acetrainerarjun821In America, China, and Japan, they didn't use 'Flash Games' in Yellow and Blue 'Banner' Flag in Traditional. Because Text didn't wash the Color Designs until 2010.
I fully admit that I couldn’t play this because the music terrified me.
As soon as the music started, it brought me back to my childhood sitting in the computer room on the desktop. good times
NOW i know how to get past those mummies and stuff like that...
Ok so that level with the pink floor was literally impossible without getting damage...
I was not familiar enough with that level cos I haven't played it for quite some time. The tricky part is actually the row of snakes cos you have to walk across them with very split-second timing compared to the usual spikes.
Edit: Oh I think you were referring to the monsters after the snakes. The only way I can think of not taking any damage is that the mummy is on the right side of the screen by the time you get past the snakes.
I used to have such a hard time playing this game as a kid, so much that when I eventually beat it, I felt so heavily accomplished.
This game was super nerve wrecking 🤦🏾♀️🤣
I had fun playing this as a kid, but I forgot how glitchy this game could get, especially when you cause the Anubis to sleep.
This game was peak game design especially as a Flash game. I always look back on it now that I know how games are made.
Its like baby's first survival horror, yes 😅😅 The Panic Meter is what sells it because the game gives you a chance instead of instant game overs.
I can't stop laugh when the dog scream.
It screams: 0:15 2:08 2:38 2:43 2:50 4:03 4:17 4:21 4:40 5:26 5:47 6:19 6:42 7:12 7:22 7:35 7:44 8:00 8:20 9:06 9:29 11:04 11:12 11:15 11:22 11:23 11:26 11:32 11:35

This game scared me so much as a child but I couldn’t stop playing it.
I remember how frustrating it was to get past all three levels. When I beat it for the first time, it was a great relief. Great game this was! The nostalgia.
this game SLAPPED
Never could beat this game as a kid
This would be amazing if the remade this added to it and put it on switch omg
Man it's been over a decade since I've seen much less played so many of these games, but watching your videos and they seem immediately familiar.
I remember how tough this game was. I also remember the satisfaction I got when I beat it. And funny enough, it was among the first games I beat on the website.
The soundtrack for the pink level is forever embedded in my nightmares one again. That was some demonic chanting shit
Sheesh the faces Courage makes as he takes more damage/ gets panic attacks
2007 high school memories my class mates and I used to play this game because courage screams like a girl
these old cartoon network games were some of the very first video games I ever played
I love this game as a kid I would spend days on it never beat it though
This game brings back so much memories.. I used to love playing this game with my kids 🥰❤️

Omg the ending is so not satisfying.
That's somewhat of a trend among these old CN games.
The ending was so lame that I forgot if I had even beaten the game before I saw it again lol
What seeing eustace happy isn't good enough for you?
@@mako3951 you cant do on loving lol
I used to always die at that fire part 🤣🤣
2021. Now Courage and Scooby Doo crossover
Yup! Courage's drawing seems a bit off though, but hopefully it will turn out ok as a whole.
Wow 😮 it has an ending!?!!
I remember getting close to your part, but I must have not reached/finished that level.
Great job! 👍😎🤩
Wow Courage, those are some fast reflexes 1:27
2:50 eusTace has respecT for courage
Wow, I was a childhood when I play this game since 2009.
Bringing back memories
I remember playing this with my friend as a kid. It used to be such a genuinely creepy experience :) Never got to the end, though :)) good times.
if Darkest Dungeon was a platformer.
the way i was obsessed with this game
Thanks for the nostalgia👍
this game's quality is really amazing considering is just a free flash game
It's technically a Shockwave game, but yes, they don't make games like this anymore...
THE FUCKING FLASHBACKS BRO Oh my god! I forgot all about this game and how I'm almost sure I was pissed because I never finished it!
I remember when I was a kid i used to play this game but I couldn’t beat it it was pretty hard
Nostalgia unlocked
Holy craaaap, I forgot about this game! Core memory alert??
Anyone else used to hop to the rhythm of the song 😂
I can't remember if I ever beat this game but I loved playing it. Also the music slaps
This is how legends are made.
What a throwback
One of my fav games ever
Courage's scream is high-pitched and I don't know why. This is not the first time I hear it though.
I love this game when i was young
Couldn't keep me off this game either ❤️❤️
I remember when i played this game with my sister and it was fun and i was really scared but 2 years ago we played this game again and we remember the great time when we were younger
Simply put, nostalgia
Nostalgia Mood
To win (from observing this player), you have to go through at least 3 different levels (the beginning, level 2 and 3, so on..) when Courage finds Eustace and Muriel, they fall through the floor and you have to continue to play the second and third until Courage finds them again and you win. To get to the top of the pyramid, do no go through the trap doors in the middle because they contain monsters or jumpstart you back where you started. Keep going to the last door on the other side until you reach the top. Finish all the levels and you beat it.
Nostalgia is real right now.
Courage every time he takes damage:
"WAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!"
Very good music
I remember the other courage game I’ve played as a kid was were Eustace and Muriel trapped in the tv.
Never could beat this game. I really hated getting stun locked in it
This game was scary af growing up but fun
Used to play this game back in 2010
its weird seeing these games play so smooth now. back when i played it they ran at like 5fps lol
I remember finding out that all the extra doors that lead to the bonus areas I completely pointless
Childhood Memories
I remember playing this when I was younger and I had no idea what I was doing
this scared the shit out of me when I was a kid. Looking at it now it's kinda funny
I remember that game

I was only able to make it through the first two levels when I played this game years back.
Man I'm sad i never really got to finish all these games specially courages games our computer broke and we didn't get another one for years and by then I was in high school and forgotten 💔
what a old games
i remember laughing everytime courage would scream
Level 1 you can shortcut into the red floor and one of the doors in the red floor will take you to the floor above
I remember this game.

Don’t be scared courage. I’ll keep the light near you so you don’t get lost.
I ended up having heart attacks after playing this
This game was so hard, not a single kid i knew could beat it. Not one!
the things I do for love.
*2:36* LMAO bad luck xDDDD
Dog courage in Egypt. I remember it because I was most afraid of these mummies.
God, I used to spend HOURS on this game.
If you didn't know if you let the mummy chase you , you can hide in one of the hallways and make the mummy fall through a lose floor
