I have also heard that there are trainers that can teach your dog to avoid rattlesnakes. I myself would like to have a dog that could bark when he or she smelled a snake or heard one. I remember handling snakes as a kid and they seemed to have a distinctive smell.

Great tips. I'd add, check a local online reference in your hiking state to see what snakes could be encountered. An easy search for 'reptiles and amphibians of ________' should yield a resource to see what venomous snakes are in the area you'll be hiking. The site should have a list of snakes and their known ranges.
Install Screech Owl nest boxes. Screech Owls will eat rodents which host ticks, attract and feed pit vipers. Given modern Forestry practices there are not enough quality nesting cavities for Screech Owls.
Calling 911 is Too Late and people died waiting them, Request Government to Provide Anti Venom Medicine or Injection for Self Treatment to those Villages where there are Many Snakes. Please also Carry Sprays to safeguard yourself from the Bear or from any Dangerous animal while Going Jungle Alone or where the place people don't live, only prone to Dangerous animal and deadly Creatures. sfbeng🙏🏻🙏🏻.🙏🏻
