What kind of crazy and narcissist person steals a car based on a dare from social media? It literally feels these young people do not believe in consequences for anything.
Because there are little to no consequences for minors, the Kia boys have even said most of the kids won’t get into high speeds because that’s more severe charges but for a minor who is car jacking or whatever they are out in 2 weeks with probation.
Na we just don’t gaf
Thats the devolving teen of this generation i cant believe these thugs lowered there standards from chargers and challengers to cheap kias 😆 lol

The problem is, the cars are designed in Korea where people behave themselves.

Tik tok has turned crime into a game. Man this world really sucks!!
Social media period has made everything goto the wayside.
SPEAK ON IT 🗣
Amen
Yup China is doing this on purpose why wouldn't they want to cause chaos
What a fucking cesspool!
Used to know a kid through some friends that said every time they caught him he would spend all his time reading auto mechanic books and search ignition system info when they let him on a computer. he can't tell you the names of all the planets in our system, but he could steal almost anything on wheels
There's a record low of mechanics and the shortage of automotive talent is worsening, Hope more of our youth would see that there is something to look forward to in life whether that be electrical engineering or auto mechanic training to make real money and build generational wealth. Mechanics make some serious coins
@@dreamer40 tbh the average mechanic doesn’t. Engineers on the other hand can make a lot of $$. These kids don’t want jobs. They just want to be criminals
As a two striker with many stolen vehicles in the 90s early 2000s, I came out owe 30 k for auto school I graduated with perfect attendance honor roll, most A.S.E's an years of being a diagnostic technician. I can assure you you are wrong, it is a terribly corrupt industry and motivates skeezy people to get commission, and people like me who took pride in the work were drivin out due to the disparaging flat rate pay system. I left because I can't be apart of an industry that is now a gamble on safety.
sounds like he should be pushing up daisies...
KIA says they meet the safety standards , but not the theft standards!
Good to know the thief's safety is important too
@@michaelbagley9116 I just assume Kias had it. Pretty sure all other automakers have for 20 years or more.
@@spazzman90 we all did, that was the problem
where is the accountability for the Social Media site? They are basically providing thieves a platform to spread their criminal behavior. It's outrageous.
the social media site has no legal obligation to regulate the content on it. you cant sue them. its like trying to sue a phone company for letting a terrorist plan something while they are on that network.
@@VD-cc4hx interesting, thanks.
Unfortunately they don’t care until someone gets killed.
@@VD-cc4hx You're incorrect, sure they have no legal obligation but posting videos on 'how to thieve' violates the terms and services agreement, meaning they could take it down if a moderator finds it
@@Shadowx157 Then why hasn't the Lockpick Lawyer been deleted off CZcams? He literally shows how to pick every type of lock... Same concept... It's tutorials.. Not a "LOOK THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT, GO OUT AND BREAK IN!!" type of thing...

Please lock these boys up and anyone who’s caught doing this

Give them years in jail for stealing instead of a slap on the wrist.
Im sick and tired of TikTok and social media challenges and all these mf thieves
They are the one should be held accountable for the thieve all around the US cities, not the Kia manufacture.
This phenomenon would lead me to agree with FCC action against Tiktok. It''s a shame because there are amazing creators with useful tutotials and heartwarming vids on Tiktok who deserve views not this crap!
Why don't these young men use their 'handy' skills to become a real professional and get ASE auto tech certification to make some real money if cars are their passion?
This isn't why the FCC asked apple and google to take tiktok off their app stores. As a male, personally I feel that if I don't have anything to look forward to in life then putting my life at risk is one of the few things that actually brings feeling and emotion into it.
I’m glad they made the video, because what is KIA doing to make it harder to steal. I knew about how easy it is to steal a Kia years ago.
How about the get a job challenge
Ain’t gonna do it. That’s too much like right 😅
I agree with you Amber. Your challenge needs to be put into full throttle.
If you put work boots and job applications around your Kia they won't come anywhere near it
😂😂
All fun and games until someone gets shot
this must be a PR nightmare for KIA & Hyundai. nobodies going to want their cars after seeing how vulnerable they are to theft.
It's not manufacturers, it's a low life labors parents, lock them up for good even they're 12 years old,
that was not a challenge at all. that is a person just showing what type of people there are in the world. more like bringing awareness.
If your KIA doesn't have Push-button Start, take it to a garage that is a LoJack authorized dealer. A former friend who is an attorney once recommended upgrading to the two LoJack system. Professional thieves (not these clowns) can disable LoJack. Once they do, they think they're in the clear. That second hidden LoJack system is still working though. Won't prevent your car from being stolen, but will help you get it back; and maybe even catch the thieves too. Former friend turned out to be toxic as hell, but credit where it's due; fantastic idea. He went with that on his Mustang. He loved that car more than he loved any girl he was in a relationship with.
I currently have a 2019 Kia Soul with push start so I assume I’m good? I have also invested in a classic Club for the steering wheel to deter thieves unless a pro gets involved. Anyways I have started putting my Kia in the garage for safe keeping.
@@BlueJuan85
Yes, according to various news reports, if you have Push-button start; you're good. Don't bother with the Club though. Even the most inept amateur thief can simply saw through the steering wheel with a hacksaw, bend the wheel a bit forward, and slide the Club right off. But yeah, if you have access to a garage, absolutely take advantage of that.
Look for the usual suspects...
When u get a car make sure u pay for the theft protection warrant that provides $5000.00 when this occurs and whenever u get your car back you’ll only pay a $500.00 deductible for damages to your car.
What if we can’t afford that?
If you want to prevent your car from being stolen put work boots and job applications around it that's their Kryptonite
Or just get a gun and blow them down when you catch them 👍🏾
You thought that was so funny lol
Black people are scared to work well at least the trashy one's
Cool, free timberlands.
Just put in a battery disconnect somewhere, problem solved.
Safety when I'm on the road but when I'm not in my car it can get stolen 😐 make it make sense 🤣🤣🤣
Tik tok needs to be shut down. Feds want to go after gun makers buy doesn’t say sheet about til tok. Or auto
Makers or alcohol makers about drunk driving.
Difference is guns were made to kill. The only transportation they'll provide for you is in the ground. Bad comparison
@@nunyabusiness1471
Can’t single out one manufacturer. After all drunk drivers kill too.
I’m in denver and have a 2023 Hyundai push-to-start, and it’s only been broken into 3 times. Sucks having to wait for the replacement window and steering column parts to arrive after each break in. I’ve also been renting a Chevy Malibu and honestly, it’s good enough for not having to worry about these dang kiaboys for a little bit 😂
Only?
@@junglejuice23 sorry. As in it was only broken into, not stolen (but they tried each time $$$)
I'm surprised a 2022 doesn't have an immobilizer while my 2004 has one.
There's been 5 attempts on my Kia's life. I'm tired of this car.
No words no words people in this world no words.
TikTok need to take down videos like this.
This is mad! Remember when it was the cinnamon challenge or the ice 🪣 bucket challenge? Now this? "Kia boy" challenge? As in steal a car 🚗🚨!? #DontDoIt Do not put yourself in any situation where the cops can shoot you! Just don't! Someone loves you & they need you. Those "likes" & "follows" don't mean 💩!
They may meet the safety standards but they DO NOT meet the security standards.
This is exactly why I keep my car in empty. They won't get far in my Galoppy....
Lol 👌
That is so sad 😞
Don’t buy a Kia until it’s fix!
Thanks fox 26 for enabling fools watching this
ACTUALLY,,, they are exposing design flaw's.,, OOOOPSSS, 🤔,, we didn't think of that,, 🙄 DUH..
This makes me glad I drive a Toyota. 😎
My car was stolen twice this year they have it now and I'm out of luck, no comprehensive coverage and no money to pay for whatever damages they decide to leave. I just got my window fixed from when the broke it THE LAST TIME. Literally one day after fixing the window they stole it again but this time they were in broad day light with SKI MASKS just strolling on in my apartments like its normal. I'm sick of this... I need max compensation because I'm single mom and I don't have any money to replace the things I JUST replaced
My 98 acur had an immobilizer. Wtf is kia doing?
Oh HECK NO NO KIA FOR ME OR Hyundai I was interested in that Santa Cruz but was leery of them because of the reports of engine fires NOW THIS and to hear the comments of that dealer , the 2st being NOTHING they can do I would have expected them to say something along the line of getting the company to look into the starting mechanisms of those vehicles.. And then the 2nd something about passing all safety regulations while we have heard about the fires would definitely make me second guess patronizing either of those companies
These people need to learn how to install a killswitch
its not a tiktok challenge its jus real life
And i was thinking of purchasing a kia
I'm glad I didn't own a Kia but my brother does and his Sport age got stolen twice. First time they failed and 2nd time thief were successful in taken it for a ride. Not only that but his catalytic converter also got stolen before they stole his whole car.
Lmao people going to the dealership when the manufacturer is the one who doesn’t implement good anti theft
I love a woman that walks like Labron James
Kia boys are so cool !!!!!!!!

Happening all over the country. Must be a promotion for a remake of New Jersey Drive.
Start putting them down when a dog is violent and worthless we put it down as we should these animals
Since they know where the kia boys live, they should be arrested placed in jail for 20 years. showing their arrest on national T.V - each state should pass a law only young person 9 year old to 18 year old will get a 2 to 10 year jail time.
Do ppl believe in steering wheel locks anymore ..
I live 40 mins s. Of Detroit. I drive a kia and litterly just went outside to put my Block on plus it's a stick shift but you never know nowadays
Well that KIA is KIA
tiktok is liable too. if the new york times put up a video on how to steal a car they would get sued too
Its your culture remember? Beautiful
Kia better send out a recall
this isnt a tiktok trend this is real life 🤷♂️
Imagine wanting to steal a POS car like a KIA or Hyundai LOL hahahaha people are so dumb.
I know there is a class action lawsuit again them because some of this models do not have a immobilizer. I was a victim of this challenge and I got my Kia Stolen in July 30. Any one knows how or who I can contact to also sue Kia for this
Now we all know that it also works on Hyundai's too
Thanks News Edge
My old Rio needs a key to start and its to ugly to steal anyways
This trend needs to end
Where the Bugatti boys at?
Shouldn’t buy a cheap car. I’m not surprised there would be some electronic hack to steal these kind of cars. It’s 2022 and Kia won’t give you push to start standard that’s sad.
🤣🤣🤣
*Me:* _Hey KIA, I'm concerned about my car. What are you gonna do about this?_
*KIA:* We don't legally have to care, so...
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Remember this when you think about buying a KIA ;)
Hidden battery disconnect switch. They can't steal your car if it won't start lol.
Good to see criminal stereotypes are not true after all.
Oh, wait...
Lmao wth can the dealership do? Did that guy really just go back to the dealership and ask them what are they gonna do about it. They can’t do anything. The dealership is not responsible for someone stealing your car.
Kia lames stealing from their own community and race 😂SMH
why would he go to the dealership and not his insurance company???
Houston, the tampon of Texas
They might get sue for damages 🙄
The problem is the culture and tik tok.
Why isn’t Kia saying anything?
Krap
In
Action
I would sue the guys on Tik Tok and Tik Tok for allowing it.
Why doesn’t TikTok shut these accounts down
Bmw thefts have been on the rise too since their 3g car tracking modem no longer works
We almost banned tiktok, but orange man bad…
So basically Kia is saying F you to any owner. They know there's a problem but will not doing anything about it. I'm a Kia owner and I will never purchase from them again since they obviously don't care about their customers.
So Kia not going to do a damn thing and just push customers to buy an immobilizer
Kia manufacture, just said this this issue does not affect model years 2022 of higher regarding the most stolen vehicles in American because we got the shittiest criminal system in the world. Kid stole the car get caught and being let go then they tell their friends of a friends and it repeats because under age don't get the proper punishment.
So Kia/hundai is responsible
Nothing they can do, not like Toyota has been putting transponder keys in their cars as standard last 20 years or anything, oh well, if only a way existed...
Why hasn’t tik tok banned their page
listen, cars have been stolen since cars were invented, this is nothing new. Kia has been exposed for the lack of design against theft and failed in driver safety.
The ciroc boyz downgraded to kiaboyz
😒😂😂😂
Damm
So there stealing base model Kia’s lol 😂
Why would anyone steal one of those things. Why not a Yugo? Same thing. I thought theives wanted valuable cars, not economy cheap crap.
How a 2022 car has a key? like they said don't work on push start model my caddy a 2011 with push kia just cheap made at this point.
YAWP YAWP bleed tho whole street fed!!!!!
Nice technology, Kia. Hahhaahh
Probably wont last long
Tik tok generation at its finest
Teslas are even easier to steal tbh
Teslas have 4-6 cameras that show you who is around your car. If someone ateals it you can literally see who they are and where they are.
Democrats like free stuff, when they come for your Kia, give them hot lead...
What a shame black on black crime and they have no respect. When is TikTok going to be held responsible for allowing these posts to be public and teach people how to commit a crime while also committing a crime on video? When are we going to hear TikTok stand up for the victims who happen to be black
So much for making cheap cars lmao.
