@@TheWorst_time He is not a consumer. He invests. He owns stuff, yes. Probably using debt / liabilty when it is the right way to finance some particular investment. He compares the different ways available to acquire each asset he decides to invest in, and then he makes a choice between for example debt towards a credit institution (bank), autofinancing (no debt), leasing, creating a company to buy what he needs on its name, or to get equity i.e. capital i.e. money from associates, start a foundation to avoid taxes. Whether he is a landlord or not is not relevant from his standpoint: he creates value, he creates wealth even through debt.

Markets looks like 2015-16. Probably going back to all time highs, but will go sideways until fed signals rate cut, Recently sold 25% of my portfolio comprising of plummeting stocks that were recommended by financial CZcamsrs, devastating!

@@Higuannn The truth is that if you make the right picks, you could make killer riches very quickly, although such profit usually needs expertise, as in hedge funds or financial managers. I personally prefer the latter.

I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered and i don't know where to go here out of devastation.
The stock market seems to be more of a casino for gamblers now than a place for investors. even if you were averaging down on ailing companies, its your duty to properly research, buying the dip does not guarantee a rebound.
The issue is most people have the “I will do it myself mentality” but not skilled enough. Ideally, advisors are perfect reps for investing jobs and at first-hand experience, my portfolio has yielded over 350%, since covid-outbreak to date, summing up nearly $1m.

You invest in them as long as you believe the company is strategizing, mobilizing and growing the way you feel they should. The way theyve said they would. He took BKR from a textile company to a holding company woryh 600k a share at its peak. The dude knows what hes talking about.

Definitely not true! Believe these guys at your own peril. Most things they say are geared at swinging the market for personal gains. I'll advise you to always do your own research before buying into anything or get a good financial expert to do that for you. Made my first million earlier this year this way after losing a lot to Propaganda inspired investing. Good luck!

Yes, I used one, hard to keep up with the trends if that's not your primary job. I don't know if I am permitted to go into details here, but you should start by looking out for those from credible firms and good track records. You should also make sure the person is licensed. Mine is Michael, Allen Eckrich and you could also look him up though I'm not so sure he's taking on new people atm.

I’m a property developer and currently I’m not building new and only doing cheap rehab s\f or small multi family all I can say is most of my subs are slow or steady on work and have a very small book of future work this says a lot about the economy don’t believe the media on how good the economy is.

It is nice that ALL these companies and restaurants are "discounting" prices to help us. Instead of saying- we've been gauging u since covid. And now we will set prices to where they should be. The amount of money that our government spent during covid will haunt us for awhile.

And while a recession may not be coming tomorrow (hence those wall street words and those that believe everything they say), it’s coming eventually within the next few years. Like he said, they happen “approximately” every ten years. This one may just come sooner. I’ve heard experts say 2026. Could be sooner, could be then, could be a little later. Definitely think it will be sooner than 10 years from the last. And like he said, good time to store up some “dry powder” if you hold those beliefs. 😉🥰

In the last few days, when stock prices plunged Retail investors sold $1 Billion. Institutional investors bought +$14 Billion. This is Market manipulation at its finest.
Short term price movement is largely manipulated by market makers and algos (and later justified by ANAL-lyst using bullshit reasons) ... e.g. driving prices down to scare and force weak holders to sell....its like a game of poker... bluff the weak hands to fold their cards so the pros can grab their money and their shares more cheaply.

Virtu financial (market maker) is going thru a courtcase right now against the SEC (which is shocking cause the SEC always takes big moneys side)where theyre accused of using retail investor info illegal, the implication being they were routing retail orders in the markets so that the orders worked AGAINST i nvestors. THEY WANT UR MONEY. they want ur investment to pay off pennies on the dollar while they get millions and millions a year for their "investment strategies". I supply Walmart as a National Account Manager (NAM) with some of their Great Value brands, and I can speak to multiple categories too. I can personally confirm that “value” (private equity) has been growing and is now on fire across the board. The last time this happened was 2007-2012. IMO according to the National data of over 4,600+ stores - we’ve been in a recession since 2022 and it’s only been getting worse. I signed NDAs so I cannot fully say what I know, so instead I’ll put it this way - if a certain “Red” candidate… there might be “contingency plans” in place to instantly lower prices across the board.
Stock market cannot go up like this. Everything is at all time highs except the Russel small cap ones.

The other retailers are closing. Bed Bath Beyond - All, Big Lots - All, Family Dollar - 600 stores, CVS - 300 stores, Walgreens - 2150 stores, Marshalls - 1,200 stores, Conn's furniture - All stores. So Walmart is getting more market share.

Yeah... I'm not convinced. I pretty much stopped shopping at Walmart altogether unless there's no other choice because the prices aren't that great and they're usually wrong on the shelf and you spend an extra hour trying to find what you're looking for and checkout takes forever.

Everybody seems to want to ignore all the other earnings calls aa soon as they hear walmarts doing well.... so many other consumer sensitive businesses have reported the consumer is struggling, credit card delinquencys are near covid highs... so many other indicators are all pointing to a weakening consumer but its all forgotten because walmart are doing well 🙈

Of course we need groceries. The Walmart I use to go to was almost dead up till noon. But never as busy as they use to be. the Walmart I go to now is near the FL boarder. It’s busier in the morning but I don’t see ppl shopping in the clothes or electronics n such. It’s grabbing food or snacks. I only stop there to grab food for lunch.

A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their own emotions.
