Great walking bassline on piano behind a great trumpet solo! I wish more pianists would employ that technique in solo or duo situations, but unfortunately they're often taught not to do so. The music typically doesn't swing as hard as a result.

which is the version you're referencing? i looked up the chet baker cover, but he says russ-han. It was originally for the musical "girl crazy", but the movie adaptation with judy garland has russ-han too. I don't know if i can find any recordings of the original theater performance.
