You know. The fastest Submarine in the world was Soviet Submarine K-222. It had a top speed of 55mph (82.2km/h) or 44.2 knots. Though that was a Nuclear-powered sub.
Yet fastest non-nuclear. USS Seawolf, 35 knots. Yet if you need to get Navy Seals into a hot zone or out. The craft can go up to 100 knots (115mph / 185 kph) on electric power.

Just a little clarification, subs typically travel underwater at 23-37mph. You figure out the knots

I think your sim rig for ATS is badass, I eventually plan on getting one myself but I could use your help if you are willing.
There is no reason to periodically have to surface a sub, that is not a thing. They can be submerged for months at a time.

I'm pretty late to this but Firekitten did an underwater rescue RP and thermal could see her pretty far underwater. I don't know if y'all use the same resources as her community though.

the assumptions made by waffloos are not realistic. he is not RPing that dave was fishing. (this is just an nonRPer's opinion.) if law enforcement refuses to "play the game" then they will always have an massively unfair advantage. (just my opinion again) law enforcement needs to accept and have a degree of ignorance. Hold up. He said “I ain’t gonna refuel my sub in the middle of the ocean” whatchu mean? Almost 99% of submarines are nuclear powered and if not ALWAYS have a backup supply. Ya didn’t run outa fuel when the average Sub can run a year without refueling. Excluding Military Submarines. You basically are trying to tell me your character is basically stupid and somehow managed to drive a sub with I guess what, 2% of fuel left? You only went 30-40 minutes. “RP” he said. God that made me laugh, I’ve learned a lot about subs. Ya didn’t run out of fuel and wouldn’t of for another month. 🤣 I understand you want to follow RP in game but YOU already know that half of the vehicles fuel aren’t scripted right.

His friend even mentions in the video that the fuel in that specific sub needs “fixed” immediately.
Instead of playing like you had another Sub come refuel you, you wanted to RP somehow throwing a jerry can at a sub. 🤦♀️
