I love this sermon. This is directly to me. My wife has filed for a divorce. we have two little girls together. Eight and nine years old. I've struggled so much. With so many things. Depression loneliness. The battle at times with hopelessness. But I praise God that we can lift our hearts up to Jesus. And let Jesus Christ heal our broken hearts.

I’m replying because I can relate although differently
I lost my son at 16 yrs old and loved him more than life He brought such purpose and joy just being able to care for him and teach him
I woukd have never known how desolate I would be with him gone. I can say no parent realizes the dreams they have subconsciously that involve their children. I see parents now empty nesters able to live life fully and they can’t grasp the struggle I’m enduring of a loss of dreams and although I know what the word says I feel hopeless
I want to say to you you cannot give up on that dream and desire. What a beautiful desire that is and although I can’t see this truth in my own life I can yours. Just because you can’t have a baby doesn’t mean you can’t be a mother There are MILLIONS of sweet children who don’t have a mother and their littke hearts hurt just like yours. When I read your post I instantly saw the sadness of this For your soul for your reasons and the millions of children that would do anything to fill that spot

I was a mom for 13 years, then my son got kidnapped by CPS criminals and then alienated from me by his narcissistic abusive father. I do not regret having had a child but in this brutal times we live in, with an Agenda to destroy families and to depopulate it might be less of a heartbreak not having children at all...

I have been Non-Stop praying for healing for the brain fog that I suffer from which is now coming on a year. I pray daily hourly every day of the week. I cry when I pray I pray with passion. On this public forum I promise God to give you all the credit when you heal me of the brain fog that I suffer from. For it'll be because of you that I'm healed. I believe in you. I trust you. I cry to you daily. Please take this brain fog away from me. Please God. Please! I have nowhere else to go and no one else else to turn to but you. I know you hear my plea. I know you see my tears. I know you hurt when I hurt. Please heal me.
I understand and went thru brain fog too. Think its stress and demonic attack. Mine finally got better after asking for help ...contacted Curt Landry Ministry...they prayed with me over the phone ...The Courts of Heaven Prayers.
Have you asked for prayer, be anointed with oil by yiur church elders? James 5:14-16? I know every time I seek this Grace, God is faithful to answer and give me strength.
Also, have you sought a diagnosis? What could be causing it?

I worry and get very anxious about health issues and mortality especially for myself and my family. It’s from my childhood but I try so hard to watch your sermons, listen to gospel songs I love and pray passionately as you mentioned and He always comes through

Sharing the word of God is one way in getting free of anxiety
I use to believe that depression did not exist I just thought get busy and get over it. Now I go through with it daily. I have a son my son Elijah he's 32 now but he was with me until he was 30. He's in a group home now because he's severely autistic and when he turned 27 he became schizophrenic and became extremely violent. We couldn't have him at home because of the extreme violence. God placed him in a perfect home. They take great care of him and I see him once a week. But it's been almost 2 yrs and I can't live without him. I want him back with us and home. So I struggle now wth so much depression and anxiety. Please pray for me. I don't want to live without him. Its been to much for me to bare.
I will see God's goodness in the land of the living.

Wow this is the sermon I needed to hear. I have all the same feelings as Jonah. I have felt this way for a dozen or more years. It’s taking it’s toll on me.
I am praying for you.
I somewhat internally roll my eyes at the idea of praying desperately and continually b/c while I know He listens, my continual tears and frustration doesn't seem to change things. I he am image of him just sitting there straight faced, even as I cry out to Him. Prayer just makes me feel so disconnected from Him most of the time. I have felt tired of prayer lately because of this so I just resort to writing in my journal and trying to read or listen relevant scriptures, even though in low spaces I don’t care to really do that either. When I am more uplifted, I try to focus on praise more. I’ve been in a long dry testing season and at this point, it's hard for me to care about prayer when it seems like many of the ones I've sent haven't been addressed, although, He has come through with some things.
Don't give up. I go through that too but it's a test. GOD is at work on your behalf. He is pruning and building you.

Hello sister in christ 🙏🏻🤍 like the other posters, I’m praying for you and hoping for an update! Please watch some sermons on how to fight spiritual battles! Rick Warren, David Jeremiah - fighting spiritual warfare with scripture, Tony Evans, Charles Stanley, etc. Roman’s tells us that creation itself eagerly awaits for the children of God to be revealed. But we also know that Satan comes to kill, steal and destroy. What does he want to kill, steal and destroy? Peace, joy, but most of all.. your faith! Sweet sister, he will do anything he can to prevent the children of God from knowing who they are, to prevent you from knowing who God made you to be! Ephesians 6 tells us to put on our full armor of God including our “shield of Faith to fight off the fiery darts of the enemy” those fiery darts are thoughts! If your thoughts aren’t love, peace, joy, then they aren’t from God! You will win this battle and every one

I have been a Christian almost 40 years and what I have been through in the last 10 nothing has prepared me for Truth is I’m 100 % sure most people don’t realize just how much pain is possible Soul pain of broken heart so severe for so long it literally tries to kill you
I understand everything you said but I also kmow what I’m going to say to you about that
First God isn’t going to change your situation at least most of the time He doesn’t. Many suffer great let down because of false doctrine teaching the live of God is there to make life easy and give you anything you pray for. I’m not saying that’s you just know the world is full of that.
We get exhausted because we miss understand much
Second - you need to come to a firm grip on what you yourself said. You KMOW age is there and because He is God He has to hear you. Yet your exhausted because you say He doesn’t answer
I can say personally that isn’t true.
Your not listening
You must pray believing He hears you and loves you
If you don’t than your calling His word a liar Right ?
When you know then you listen to hear.
It’s like someone who talks so much when another gets a word in edge wise you can tell their ears heard it but it didn’t register and truth is it’s a one way conversation because they were so driven they couldn’t hear
When you bleed your heart then it’s Gods turn to talk. You must stop and listen

This is something many have trouble with and too deep for me to go into
Don’t put words in His mouth then you will listen to hear anything. He is spirit and is speaking but it’s to your spirit. To your heart but you have to recognize that

Pastor Rick, hi from South Africa, thank you for God's message of grace. I would like to add that the most important thing that Jonah did, is that he starting "praising" the Lord and I believe that it was "praise", that made the Lord answer his prayers. Throughout the Old Testament every time the Israelite start "praising' the Lord, things happened. You see Praise and Grace, or Praise for Grace goes hand in hand, when we accept God's Grace. Thank you so much for your teachings!

My mother sent this to me because I just found out my boyfriend and baby father of our one and only 3 year old son, who I've been with for 10 years. It would have been our 10 year anniversary on nov 24th. I found out 2 weeks ago that he has been cheating on me for 6 months with a married woman that has 2 young children herself. This s.o.b was having "play dates" with our kids right in front of my face for a year now. I never thought he was capable of such betrayal. Well God sent this message to me for a reason. My newborn nephew's name is Jonah and my lucky number and my birthday is 27!!! Theres no better feeling than getting a message delivered to you straight from God! God IS good!
You need to stick with GOD'S Word. Stay out of those kind of relationships. You must be married to do married people things. Seek The Lord and read and follow His Word. He will bless you with a good husband if you do things His way.

I’ve been praying for the husband thing for ages now Paster.... at least over a decade. So sometimes I just give up.... like is it even Gods will? It gets discouraging. :(
Try praying about it for over 40 years
I prayed, sometimes (many times) I wanted to give up in believing, ‘is it even God’s will’? Well, after 39 years, he accepted Christ, began to follow diligently and became a better Christian I ever thought I could be in the last 30 years of walking with God.
Don’t ever lose your hope, keep believing, keep walking, stay faithful and continue to pray for him.
Lost my wife 3 months ago in a traffic accident. Now I am alone facing legal issues and injury recovery. This is exactly WHAT I needed. Praise God for His provision.

I am experiencing all of these feelings that cause hopelessness. It’s excruciating. I’ve been praying for years, got baptized, joined a small group, go to church, volunteer at church, etc, but I still feel so much anxiety that I just want it all to end.

I cried out and prayed with 100% faith when my dad was in the hospital but God didn't answer my prayer. I was begging God for help and he didn't save my dad. Why? If you say God answers desperate prayers in crisis. Makes me not want to ask God for anything again because when I tell everyone Gods gonna intervene I just look stupid. Why does he answer some not others?
God is with you, don't doubt about that. Everyone must die one day...
I did the same with my father and my father chose satan. We can't control anyone's heart. We must do our part, so we don't come up short. I don't know about all prayers, but some people just don't want GOD. As much as it breaks our hearts.

A really difficult couple of weeks here has caused me to stop and reflect and to begin trying to prevent feeling overwhelmed and undermined through all the challenges swirling around em. Trying to begin to find some hope in all this personal and professional despair is something that I really struggle with.
