  • Watch as we get the chance to demo a 2019 Case IH 3340 Patriot sprayer over 600 acres of soybeans. Find our what we like and dislike about this sprayer compared to our 2008 John Deere 4830. A huge thanks to H&R Agripower for giving us the opportunity to test this machine out!

I think I found out about the brake pedal in the road too! I was used to using the brake to ride the hydro down as well. It was sure a hard habit to break.

If you double click down on your boom height, it will engage the auto control without having to touch the viper 4

That monitor is the viper 4plus. It is awesome compared to the viper pro. The pro was like 90s technology. I have run the 2630 and the new generation series of Deere. the 4plus is actually really easy once you run in for a couple acres. It’s hard to compare your old one to this one because their is a lot of technology change between them.

I would suggest looking at a Hagie , Miller or Oxbo. Clearance is over 6 ft on these sprayers, front mounted booms and 4 wheel steering. Hagie is owned by John Deere and has a John Deere Engine and service. Miller is owned by New Holland and again parts and service. For the money Oxbo is the best deal and has all the features that you get with the others but service and parts could be a issue because of dealer network. Case has a Trident sprayer that’s suppose to have all the latest and greatest of everything but I haven’t seen one.

Griggs Farms LLC. My next sprayer will be a Hagie or Oxbo. The Oxbo is considerably less money and it’s a nice machine. The best thing about Oxbo they’re trying to establish themselves and they’ll make a deal. Oxbo built Miller sprayers for many Yrs so they’re not new to manufacturing.

I think the Deere and Case are probably better balanced than the Rogator so either one of them would probably climb better

Sounds to me like you already had your mind made up to get a John Deere before you even went and test drove it waste of time
