NEVER RUSH A MTB ROAD GAP

- I always rush into things, and when it comes to jumping a gap of this size. Rushing should not be an option. I knew full well something needed to be done to the mossy run up, but typical me, I wanted to attempt the jump either way. With no surprise, the run up just before the take off was way to soft, completely shutting down my momentum. Luckily, I didn't get hurt, my bike took a slight beating, but it was a cheap fix. 2nd time around with slightly more thought. It went more smoothly. The actually gap setup lacks in run up, it's surrounded by a barbed wire fence, with more run up the gap would have been loads easier. But it's now accomplished, and im now looking into the next setup, and I will take you on this journey. I have so many spots and locations wrote down, which will definitely make my Vlogs more interesting. Hope you enjoy this one, thanks for watching

I have a trail I ride and there's a road connecting trails in the middle of the woods and the road is crying to be gapped the lift off and landing is perfect just too scared to do it on my own (Yorkshire area if you're interested there's also some huge jumps in the woods across from it )
George Key measure the gap, find a jump that compares to that gap take off. Keep jumping until you reach the length of gap needed, and send it 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I personally would have racked it then shallowly dig it so its mud and then apply a thin layer of old rug from a junkyard and bamb even when wet the rug should still be grippy.
Make sure to submerge the rug or what ever and check that it is grippy because not all stuff is made equal.
