- Here's my review of the Roland Micro Cube mini guitar amplifier. It's perfect for the bedroom and small performances, with built-in amp simulators and effects to create many different sounds.

best amp in the world.. nothing more . nothing else
The sheer quality of tones this amp puts out is amazing! It has immediately relaxed my Fender Mustang as my go to bedroom practice amp!
Thanks my friend 👍
..they've changed it now, to the micro, gx?
Get mine in 2010 and I still won't part with the little guy it's just absolutely amazing.
Bedroom or a small room people laugh at the size when you tell him how big the speaker is they don't realize you have the power of not only rolling but you also have boss because they own them.
This is why I like unlike some other modeling amps that have their built-in effects they sound like shit because of the fact that they don't have that technology.
By the way I was digging all the different ways you could play Ziggy stardust
Thanks for sharing,
My Roland Micro Cube has drastic sound level output difference btw styles groups
mic/r-fier /stack classic/ are high volume
Brit-combo are middle
Black panel /jc clean /acoustic are low volume
I don't remember if that was so when I bought it new, can you kindly confirm my micro cube is / or not normal with yours?
Hi there, using my Micro Cube I checked the volume output for each of the selected amplifiers, and it’s the same as you describe. You need to adjust the gain and/or volume knobs when you select a different amplifier, to maintain the same volume output. Thanks for your query.
Cade Harris @thanks Cade!, and...what a gentleman you are! 😃
thanks
does it have a jack?
I have a stupid question. I bought a micro cube as a gift for someone but it didn't come with a cable that goes from the amp to the guitar. What is that called or which one do i need to buy? I know nothing about music, amps or guitars,
Hi Phil, that’s a good question. It’s a standard guitar cable with a 1/4” (one quarter inch) jack at each end. If the lucky recipient already has an electric guitar then they’ll probably have a guitar cable already, but it’s always good to have a spare.
@@andrewharris846 what’s the model number of the power cable... trying to get a used amp but sometimes they don’t include the power cable
If we connect Record Out will external speaker will Work or external speaker gets silent
Yes, I’ve done it. The REC OUT / PHONES port can send the signal to a sound desk or to an amplifier which drives speakers. You just need a 1/4” jack instrument cable.
@@andrewharris846 ok but will the external speaker of the amp will work or not when REC OUT/ PHONES IS CONNECTED
@Sirlana David Raju, The Microcube internal speaker cuts out when a cable or headphones is plugged into REC OUT / PHONES. This is for people wanting to practice quietly using headphones. I once saw a CZcams video showing how to modify the wiring so that the internal speaker still sounds.
@@andrewharris846 man i taught it might be use full for Lineout no problem will go for another amplifier
Man thanks for your reply really worked for me
What model is it mate?. Just a mini cube or a GX etc
It's just a micro cube.
Is it can use adaptor?
Yes, it comes with a Boss DC power adapter.
Turn your gain down to get rid of some of the shrillness and other undersireable qualities you noted. You've got too much gain.
