Great shopping trip
So many pretty things. The banter between Scott and Vinny is the best 🤣😂
Fun shopping with y’all. My favorite part was when Vinny says “what ?” And you just give a look and a grunt. 😂😂😂
But, it's "only $8"!
Loved that part. Lol
Norma Jean , that was priceless 🤣
Scott, I love your humor especially when you kept on looking at Vinny and asked him if he broke wind!!! 😂😂 also I don’t know why you remind me of James Dean!! It’s a compliment!! I enjoy your adventurous trips!!
Great selection of background music!
Great video Scotty! Thanks for sharing!
You guys are the best to watch together!!!! ❤❤
I 💯 agree they crack me up fun duo!!!
You two are so fun!
Enjoyed your excursion to the antique malls. I just wanted to let you know that at the 20:06 mark, the item you are wondering about is a crochet collar that would have been worn, usually on a plain, black dress. You were holding it backwards... the squared end would be worn at the back of the neckline, with the narrower ends coming to meet around the front of a "V" neckline... Just thought you'd like to know.
Some good prices 👌 also some rare good condition items. 👏 Thanks for bringing us along.Like the green and red chrome tbl's.
I'm pretty sure that is a yoke to an Edwardian era slip. When the lower muslin portion wore out it would be replaced.
You went to one of Joshlyn CLL places she goes. They have great vendors many interesting things. My favorite thing when you shop with Vinny is when you see
something and Vinny says who is that. 😆. Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day. The Black Rose
Thanks for the Laughter 🤣🤣 Scott & Vinny 🥰🥰
Now that was fun. The look you sent Vinny, priceless lol
Now that’s the way to enjoy take away coffee or tea. I must remember to put a cup and saucer in the car!
Vinny looked like a young FDR in those specs.
❤Another great informative video! 💕
Well, these are just wonderful places to visit. A real Alladin's Cave. There's something that you want and catches the eye everywhere you look. A lot in collections, too. Fascinating video and great viewing. Thank you Scott and Vinny. Warm regards and best wishes to you both 👏👍😉
You two keep me in stitches!!! 😂 You’re so much fun…
I’m just guessing here, but I think you had that collar on backwards… the rectangle goes in the back and the two straps crisscross in front and are held together with a brooch or clip (( or maybe knotted )). Just my guess….
That look! (Cow manure) Scott, you are priceless! Asking Vinny if he broke wind. 🤣😂🤣 Why did the music in the beginning make me want to buy new 1950s appliances? 🤔 I laughed so hard about that lace collar. “Why they had so many kids.” 😂🤣😂🤣 You’re hysterical.
Scott and Vinny this was a great full of of beautiful pices
Hi Scott love when you and Vinny shop together you two are great from the car ride to the lace thing that’s why they had so many kids 😂🤣😂😂 you had me laughing love black rose antique shop they have some awesome treasures and the next shop was great to loved the furniture with the shampoo station and so many other things always injoy watching take care
Aways fun, shopping with you two❤😊
Nope. 30 seconds in the collar goes on the other way. You have it back to front! Lol.....😂
😂😂😂I thought it was a bra😂😂😂
Scott Scott Scott, 🤭 I believe it was a sailor style collar you had on backwards but it was funny, then you looked like me when we drive through the dairy fields. Those two kitchen booths you found were pure gold!💖🙏
It is an old Victorian collar but goes the other way round. They're very popular now. I collect them for my youngest daughter who wears them all the time. We even have a chain link one, but I have to say I guess you could wear it as a bib or bikini top😂
The way you were wearing it reminded me of my preteen training bras. Only you , Scott.😅😅😂😂❤
You make me laugh, Mr Scott. I am enjoying the video too. The two lamps and middle piece in turquoise was lovely too, but it needs the right room filled with tacky , tacky stuff. Yes , very tacky. Have a great day. 💜💚💛🧡❤💜💚💛🧡❤💜💚💛🧡❤
Still laughing at the modeling 🤣
You two trying to figure out how that shoulder collar worked was too funny...thanks for the tour!🇨🇦
Bahaha!😂boys, that's a ladies shift or nightgown bodice😂🤣 it would have light voile or cotton drapery stitched to it. "Underpinnings",lol. U r a hoot!
I love watching you both together 😊
I agree Joan, they make a great team😁
Yes they are so funny.
The crocheted pieces were used as insets on nightgowns, and sometimes blouses with an underlayment beneath it. Not fol lampa😅😅😅
Looking forward to more dollhouse renovation videos 🏠
I think the collar is a Victorian tucker. Which was worn under a dress and children wore it also.
Loved shopping with you guys, Scott 😁. “That’s why they had so many kids” 😂😂😂.
Pure delight 🕊️ this Wednesday morning 🥰!
That was a fun one, Scott & Vinny. Never never knew about table lamp doilies. Learn something new every day. Now, if I could just remember what I learned.😂🩷
I agree with comment Victorian collar you had it backwards. But your modeling was great😄! These last two weeks of watching you and Vinny have been so much fun. Both during lives and the videos. Always fun to see you together.
Loved the shopping trip and that marigold bowl Vinny found for you 🤣🤣🤣🤣 it follows you everywhere.
Love you two together ,your a hoot.😀👍
I saw so many beautiful things some of which are only beautiful to me like the old pots, trivets and serving spoons. It must be wonderful to have stores nearby to go and see so many wonderful antiques and vintage items.
I LOVE the picture on the wall behind Vinny's hand where he's holding up the chippy paint lamp!
Always fun shopping with you. Could we have an update on the dollhouse. I really enjoyed those vlogs. Thanks for taking us along.
I have not touched the doll house since last summer. As soon as it warms up, I will move the doll house to my basement for further restoration. Thanks for asking.
Love this video! Thank you Scott and Vinny for making me laugh today 🤣 really needed that after recently finding out that my brother has lung cancer. I love seeing all the treasures and your videos are therapeutic.❤
🙏🏻
Cynthia, so sorry
Thank you Sharon ☺️❤️
What lovely buildings you drove through,I expected a Lionel train at any moment.
Does anyone ever see Rose Chintz by Johnson Brothers? I never see it !!
That was Victorian collar, you had it on backwards. Your both hilarious
That was fun... great antique malls..!💕
...P.S. ..you are a nut😊💕
A Lovely Day Visiting Black Rose Antiques🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰. GREAT VIDEO AND GREAT CONTENT. THUMBS-UP ALWAYS!!!!
I’m pretty sure the lace piece is a collar, but you had it backwards. The square piece goes in back, and the ends are either knotted or crossed and held with a brooch in front.
Jeffrey Kevin would have liked the square cake stand next to the black candle sticks
Thank you for the shopping trip.
Great shopping trip, wonderful things to see. I think that you were trying to wear that lace collar backwards. Putting you and Vinny together is kind of like putting nitrogen and glycerin together, it CAN be dangerous!😂
Yes, a road trip!---Nope, no luster pitchers in my wanderings out west.---Lots of great shopping opportunities in you area.
I never see lusterware in the PNW.
Humor is wonderful! Vinny is your straight man. Your facial expressions are hilarious! Breaking wind joke the best 😂😂😂😂😂
the lacy item is a Victorian Collar...the longer pieces tie in the front of the neck... although I'm sure it could be worn tied to the back...
What a fun episode. It's nice to see you smile. ☺️ 💚
The lace is a collar that goes the opposite way from how you put it on. The square area falls down the back and the long pieces get attached to the front of the blouse along the lapels.
this is 2023 you can wear that collar however the heck you want and I doubt many would bat an eyelash..we've seen it all by now.
LOL 😂 the collar? When the two of you co-shop, I’m in stitches 😊
That lamp at 10:30 has a pattern very similar to a set of Nippon glassware I saw in an antique store recently.
Loved the punch cups. If one had a large group for Easter dinner, one by each place setting done as a Easter basket would be sweet. Repurpose!
That punch cup set - I'd buy them for that price and then piece them out - all the green as one set, etc. Or, I'd sell mixed- color sets of three (or six). And I'd call them anything but punch cup! Here's your cappuccino cup/ trinket holder 😂
Love you two! I liked those clear glass candlesticks. Deco looking and for $7.
Hanover also has Yesteryear Antiques
We went there too and found some neat stuff :)
This trip was just great! What a wonderful place with so many beautiful items!! I loved all the cream and green items! I actually had a few things in that in my old house! That lace thing was hilarious! I thought of a fancy bib perhaps when eating soup or fish bowls? Or like Vinny said a neck collar on a sweater or something. It was pretty tho. If only it could talk. Thanks for a cool trip! Take care.
Oohh I loved the c&g enamel ware and the red and white.
Yes, that collection won best of show. I'm drooling over the covered roaster.
@@yoopermary I hope the were awarded a rosette.😂😂
Every time you take us shopping I find another thing to covet. Believe it or not today it was the cream and green double boiler :) Thank you for letting us tag along.
The display of glass ware was beautiful. No wonder your stuff sells Scott.Prices more realistic.
I would hang that Rock of Ages in my home. I’ve never heard of it before. Now I’m going to look up all the other scenes! 👍.
I totally thought the doily was an old version of a training bra!😮😅❤️🐩
You know guys, we don't have the "usual's" that you have in your state. I wish I could complain that certain items are common and everywhere but seriously remember that it depend on your location and what antiques and vintage items are available. Even the Jeannette glass I don't see around here. So don't assume we have the same things. I drool over what's normal for you guys because it's not normal in my area.
Did it ever occur to you that you may not see something as much as we do because you aren't actively looking for it? Those bowls are the perfect example, as I was never looking for them and hadn't even noticed them. Now that Scott has brought them to my attention, I see them everywhere. Sometimes it takes someone else to point something out to you for you to really notice it, and that's with anything in life. Think about it.
You and Vinny comedy duo😂
Cyd in MD. Welcome! Shop by any time :-) 💰💰
The punch cups were to “die for”.
Road trip!!!💃Omg!!Hilarious!🤣
Question - what is the name of the "traveling music" you use for your road trip? I remember hearing it on some TV show when I was young.
czcams.com/video/PrhLBPIjcCI/video.html
Lots of interesting items! The main things that caught my attention were the kerosene lamps. Too many of the full-size ones had been converted to electric, though. I wouldn't pay $5.00 for one of those, especially if the font had been drilled. The miniature/bedside table ones seriously did interest me.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 the laugh after you say that's all they wore that's why they had so many kids!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 you kill me!!!!❤️🤣🤣🤣🤣❤️ did you buy the lamp I hope you did if you did I can't wait to see what magic you do to that!!!😍
Here in Germany🇩🇪 we have a saying, basic message: "Whoever smelt it first is from whom's buttom it has burst"...🤪
P.S you and vinny are fun together yall be killing me!!!!🤣❤️
It is called a dicky. It is used under your blouse to cover your décolletage. Or repurpose it for you side table lamp.
We're those Bormioli glasses right above the Mid-Century punch cup set?
Beats me 😀
Celtic music
I know where your smell came from. The paper factory and its awlful.
🥦🟦
Scott Joann from Bat Thrift Crazy has doll house furniture
I'm looking for authentic dollhouse furniture that was made from mid 1920's to mid 1930's. Do you if she has that type?
When you find those old lamps, do you always rewire them? I found one that was 250v 660W and I thought it needed new sockets, because I'm not sure if it is safe.
I would like to know if you and Vinny have regular jobs ? Or if this is your job.
I work between 56 to 60 hours a week. :)
scott! you cruised right by that green chrome kitchen table and chairs! -- arent you looking for one?
No I don’t want chrome. Plus I actually found a table about 2 weeks ago. 😍
@@oldcuriosityshop265 ok -- yeah i guess chrome came after the '20s -- i hope you found a sweet little painted wood drop leaf
Love the shopping video but I prefer thrift shop videos - even if you don’t find that much. I don’t think Vinny likes thrifting like you do.
No Vinny loves thrifting and goes several times a week. His personality is just a bit lower key than mine.
