- Hi!
Here I address some issues that I’ve encountered from just playing and using with the EP 133 KO II from Teenage Engineering, and how I’ve worked my way around it, and also a few thoughts and mindful things to consider when making songs with the unit.
I hope I came clear with the points that I wanted to talk about, but if you need further explanation let me know in the comments. I will try to help!
Also if you have more suggestions related to the topic of this video, you can put them in the comments as well so that we cannot discuss.
As always, thatnks for watching! - Hudba
Amazing! Please bring more content on the Ko-II - Thank you, keep it up! SUBSCRIBED!
This was my first video speaking to the camera and it wasn’t easy for me to put out at first haha.
I’m glad you liked it. I have another interesting video for the EP 133 in the making. Big thanks for the subscription!
@@respiradnb it's great - Can't wait😊
Does this have glide between notes? So I can make westcoast wire sounds or bass glides up and down?
You can set the notes to either polyphony (not gliding) or monophony, so every note glides, but you can’t really control the time that takes to glide from a note to the other, for now at least. Hope that helps!
After creating a song how can I share it to my laptop?
You can record each track separately with each individual scene and then mix on a daw. Pretty tricky and cumbersome if you ask me. There should be an easier way to do that, but there isn’t at the moment. It’s definitely a feature I would love to have
I only get usb hum when connected to computer, no hum when I plugged straight in to power supply
That’s probably it, because the nearest usb connection that I have is to a computer. Thanks for sharing that!
But it’s still something I’m concern with. Usually I plug it in via usb to change samples or even record midi from another keyboard, and that means that I have to unplug it to record without interferences.
@@respiradnb yeah it's definitely still annoying, I wonder if a ground loop isolator would work.
@@respiradnb usb hum also here - I believe it is the computers fault (mother board to be specific) - because when I connect usb to another computer, and audio to another - no usb hum.
Ground loop isolator does work.
I mightve asked you before but what's the respira thing and how can I buy it?
I bought that in a Denmark branded shop called Flying Tiger in Spain. Those shops are pretty popular here. You can buy them in Amazon anyways, I believe. Search by the words "customizable mini light box letters". You should see similar results.
Ur missing a fader nob?
Yea, I still have it in the box that it came with. I wanted to preserve it intact since I had to send the first unit that I had due to fadergate. Too risky for me ahahaha
It’s comfortable enough though, so no need to put it at this point!
put some lego technic on the fader man ;)
Ahahahaha I’m still too worried about breaking it. Not gonna lie, it’s too risky and the first unit that I received came with a broken fader!
